Things with Vinnie and I have been off ever since the concert. He has been busy in meetings with his manager. Zoe and I have been exploring the city more and doing fun things. We obviously talk and hang out still but there is this unspoken tension between us. Zoe and I were out shopping for what we were going to wear for Vinnie's birthday party tonight. She said she wanted to find the perfect outfits for us because apparently, the paparazzi is going to be outside of the club all night. We went to a few different boutiques and shops. I had already found what I was going to wear which was a pretty black sparkly dress I found at the first shop we went to. While Zoe was in the dressing room trying things on I felt my phone ringing in my Lulu Lemon fanny, I pulled it out and the name said "maybe: Jack" I decide to answer, "hello??" I hear laughing, "Hey Hibba! It's Jack, remember your friend from the concert?' He really put an emphasis on friend there. I say hi and ask why he is calling. "Don't you remember you invited me to the party tonight, I would love to see you." I blush and forgot I had done that, "Oh yeah I will send you the info, see you tonight Jack!" I quickly hang up and at the same time, Zoe walks out of the dressing room holding the dress she is going to buy. "Who was that?" She asks. I scratch my arm, I hadn't told Zoe about Jack, or anyone for that matter. There was no reason to because nothing was going on, or that is what I have been trying to convince myself. "Oh just a friend that I invited tonight, we met at the concert." Zoe smiles and says, "Well how exciting, I can't wait to meet her!!" I don't tell her it's a guy and I just go along with it and nod my head. We finally finish our shopping which felt like it took forever and go back to the house to get ready. It didn't take us very long so we all met in the living room and took pics until everyone else was done. These TikTokers like to go all out, I found out that they had rented a limo to take us to dinner and the club. It pulled up in the driveway and Chase yelled, "Let's go!!" Vinnie came downstairs last, he was wearing a suit and looked very handsome and put together. That was until I saw him take a sip from his flask. I waited for him at the bottom of the stairs. He smiled at me and hugged me, "Happy Birthday! You look so nice in your suit!!" He thanked me and kissed me. This was the first time we had kissed since the concert. It felt nice but it wasn't the same as what it used to feel like. We walked out to the limo and when we got in the music was already playing and the lights were flashing. I decided the only way I would make it through the night was if I drank too. We cracked open a bottle of champagne and started pouring shots. Things got a little out of hand in the limo but before we could control it we were at dinner. We went to a nice restaurant called Boa which is this fancy steakhouse. We enjoyed our dinner but we knew the club was going to be the best part of the night. Vinnie had been preoccupied with his friends all night which I was fine with because some had flown out from Seattle to see him so he should spend time with them.
