Vanguard: The Messiah Flower

Turn 6: Upgrading

At the Chief Branch meeting, they discussed a lot of things. First, Ibuki told them about Chrono's condition and also about the gear attack issue. Taiyou was shocked to hear such things happened...

Taiyou: "How is he doing right now?"

Aichi: "He's in a stable condition right now but as we said before, as time goes by the worse it will become. The toxic will soon surrounded his heart and it that happens, it's the end..."

Taiyou: "No way..."

Second, Ibuki will now tell them about how to get that toxic out with the Messiah Flower...

Ibuki: "Our only hope now is the Messiah Flower. It is located in Cray, inside the ocean to be exact and to get that it's not easy. First we have to go there which we're still discussing of how we can go there, I'll get back to that point later. Second, it is guarded and we have to prove it to them that we are worthy of that flower."

Taiyou: "What do we have to do to prove our worth? Don't tell me that we have to use violence?"

Ibuki: "That I don't know... whatever it is, we just have to prove it."

Mamoru: "Now, we'll talk about how we can go there. Since Chrono is now unavailable and he is the leader of the astronauts, we can't send the other astronauts to go there on their own without their leaders."

Magallanica Chief Branch: "Then who will we send there and how can we go there?"

Aichi: "I've been studying the Gear Chronicle Teleportation skills and we can use it to go there."

The meeting went for almost four hours. It's probably the longest meeting they ever done. It's understandable considering there is life at stake...

At the Astronaut Hospital

Rive, Mikuru, and Mayumi went to the hospital and pay a visit. They're just as shocked to see such things happened to Chrono...

Rive: (Sigh) "How did it end up like this?"

Mayumi: "How bad is his condition right now?"

Tokoha: "He is alright now but..." (Looking at the body scan)

Rive: "50%... what does that mean?"

Mikuru: "What is actually going on?"

Tokoha: "It's the percentage of the toxic in his heart."

Rive: "Toxic?! How come?!"

Tokoha: "It's because of that battle two years ago. That horrifying unit..."

Rive: "Unit? You mean... Chronodragon Deathstage Evolution?"

Tokoha: "Yes."

Mayumi: "So that unit has something to do with his condition right now?"

Tokoha: "Correct... it's a long story but I might as well tell you all."

She then told them the whole thing, including how to cure him as well with the Messiah Flower...
