What Happened?

Maya Manchester. The daughter of Ray Manchester also known as Captain man. The indestructible protector of Swellview. Her mother wasn't a hero, she was a normal civilian. She had beautiful long pale blonde hair, and enchanting blue eyes.

When she was a child, she was happy and outgoing. She loved almost everything and made friends easily. She had two loving parents. Ray Manchester, her father. Even if she took after her mother buy a lot; with hair, eyes, and face shape. Maya loved her dad more then anything. She even stayed up late to watch her dad on the TV.

They were happy together. Just the three of them. Mother, father and daughter.

That was until Maya turned six. Sometime after her sixth birthday, her mother passed away. After that day, it was never the same for the Manchester household.

Maya had to learn things on her own. Her smile was gone and her friends started to turn on her. Maya didn't smile for years. She stopped calling Ray, 'dad' due to him becoming mentally/emotionally abusive towards her.

Maya became quieter and quieter. Due to her having the rep of being the lonar girl from a rich dad, she didn't make any friends and had trust issues when someone introduced themselves. She dropped out of school and started online schooling.

She really only had a limited number of things to do and Maya couldn't leave Ray until 16 or 18.

Ray payed even less attention to her when he took in a sidekick. Aka, Henry Hart or Kid Danger. Maya mostly stayed away from the main part of the man cave during the day, but Kid Danger and everyone else that found out about his secret and didn't get memory wiped, found out about her.

Maya made some friends but she was still quiet and barely talked, but she liked listening and it helped with her depression. She got confident and took off her gloves for a short while.

Maya soon found herself slowly losing control over her powers again. So she pulled herself away in fear that everyone would find out and become afriad of her. Maya put her gloves back on and started to become her quiet shy self again.

When Drex came back with his caveman, Maya hid. She knew that she didn't have the bravery or fighting skills to fight Drex.

Only hours later, Maya found herself hanging out with Danger Force. She got that feeling of having a family again, but her nightmares kept coming. She always shut them out when they tried to get to close.

Ray explained that she has been like that ever since her mom, his wife died when she was a little kid. Everyone left it like that. Not knowing they only got a quarter of the story.

However the one person that dreaded waiting for Maya to open up, was the girl who had a crush on her. Maya also had a crush on this girl but due to her lack of self-esteem she would push it down.

That girl was Lula Elena Chapa De' Silvia, but she goes by her second middle name, Chapa.
