Footsteps pound on the forest floor as a brunette girl ran deeper into the woods than she ever had before. Her tan, paint-stained hands gripped the straps of her bag as she smiled wildly, jumping out of the way of trees, gray eyes shot all directions as she impulsively decided to go right because why the hell not? She ran for a bit longer before she started to lose air.

She stopped to catch her breath, taking in the sight of golden sunshine falling through lush leaves on the trees. She breathed harder as she continued walking further into the forest. Something caught her eye.

Looking to her right, she spotted what looked to be a large chunk of white marble. Walking up to it, it was revealed that there was a statute hidden in her woods.

A familiar figure loomed over her. The girl decided to sketch a picture of the large, cracked statue.

She examined a few things, the statue was female presenting and had hair that went down to a little past her shoulders. She was bigger in size with more of an apple shaped body. She wore a poncho, leggings, and long boots.

The thing that the girl was most aware of, though, was that the statue looked just like her.

She got to the statue's feet in her sketch, and looked at its pedestal. Something shiny lied at the base of the figure's foot. It looked familiar to the girl.

As the girl walked up to the statue, a sense of deja vu came over her. Hasn't she done this all before?

No, no way. This is too strange.

As she approached the statue, she saw a red charmed necklace with a golden chain laying at the base. Attached to it was a note.

For you, child of sun
Bearer of a floral name
Sunsoaked dreams
And eyes that become flames
Marigold

The girl giggled and picked up the necklace. She put it in her bag along with her sketchbook, and picked up the note.

"How do you know my name?"

She looked further down at the pedestal to try to find a name. The wind blew a little harder than usual, carrying leaves from their trees and into Marigold's hair. She saw a label

"Hexanian Goddess of Chaos, Fire, and Sun
###"

The goddess's name had been scratched out, it was too hard to read.

Marigold pouted . She had wanted to know the name of her gifter, especially if they were a god. Her phone buzzed

Marigold took a compass out of her pocket and started to head back the way she came.

Yellow eyes scanned over a figure in a mirror, her figure. She brushed her hands over lace designs on her maroon ball gown, and grimaced as someone pulled the strings of her corset a little too tight.

"You look beautiful, really. I mean that."

"Thank you, Olive. It means a lot."

Olive smiled. "Don't forget this," they picked something up from the young lady's nightstand. "It wouldn't be a coronation without your necklace, you know. It is our way home."
