Sam's POV:When we reached the outskirts of Fort Collins, Colorado, Tessa turned on to a gravel road and parked outside a small country home.
"Where are we?" I asked her.
She turned to me, shaking her hair loose from her helmet. "This is my home. I grew up here."
"Are your parents home?" I asked her, eyeing the door.
Her face grew sad and she shook her head.
"That is how I became a hunter at 17. Well sort of. My parents died five and a half years ago."
"Oh god, Tess, I'm sorry," I apologized. She shrugged her shoulders and grabbed her bag. I grabbed mine and followed her to the front door. She unlocked it and then stepped inside, punching a code in on the security alarm before shutting the door behind me.
She ran a hand through her hair and sighing she gestured for me to follow her upstairs.
When entered a bedroom, which I'm assuming is her's. It was simple. The walls were a light blue. White curtains hung on the windows. A silver metal bed frame holding a double bed was in the middle. Fluffy white sheets and a duvet covered the mattress. A dresser was against one wall and a bookshelf was against another. She had a big comfy looking chair in the corner and a closet behind the dresser. She dropped her duffel bag at the foot of her bed. I set my down beside her's. She patted the bed, letting me know I can sit there before she hops onto her bed and brings her knees up to here chin. Her arms wrapping around her legs.
"Before you tell me, I want you to know, that I know I was dead, and I know Dean made a deal," I blurted out.
Her eyes widened and she said, "Oh god! Are you okay?!"
I nodded my head. "I'm fine, but I will save Dean, I don't know how but I will."
She looked at me and nodded.
"So I guess I'll start with how I started hunting..." she said, and that's what she did. She told me about the 'imperfect' demon, and how Tessa risked her life for the demon and how she lost her parents. I asked her how she couldn't hate that demon because of all the others who have and will kill and because that demon did cause the death of her parents. She told me it was because she saw fear, and kindness and good in that demon. I didn't believe her but I didn't tell her that either. This was her story. She then told me how she finished high school and learned how to shoot guns, and she sold stuff, saved money, about the bikes, she bought one full, one discounted because of a demon problem. She told me how she then went to train with other hunters, and meeting other hunters.
"Anyways, one day I came home and sitting on my couch was Calypso.
"What are you doing here?" I(Tessa) asked her.
"I have a favour to ask you," she said, looking sheepish and embarrassed.
"She was an amusing demon, she could be cold and mean with a snap of your fingers, as well as being insanely stubborn. But she tried to be good, to do good.
"Anyways, she then said, "I want to hide in your body."
"Wait. What?" I asked.
"She asked to possess me, Sam. So that she could hide from demons. And yes, I freaked out. I asked her a million questions. Why? Would it hurt? Would I lose my life? Would I be damned to hell? Etc.
"She answered all my questions. Why? Because she couldn't do anything in the dead human body she was possessing. Would it hurt? Only a little bit. Would I be damned to hell? No, she was not taking my soul, just borrowing my body. Would I die? No, I wouldn't die unless I got shot in the head or chest, so I wouldn't die from her but someone attacking me.
