You stood in the rain, seeing a broken shinichiro. He was crying, he was angry. 

"You told me he was gonna be okay!"

"Shin I-.."

"I don't wanna hear it."

"Shinichiro!" You raised your voice

"What!"

"Listen, please. I didn't know. we have no power over what happened, I just went with my gut... and I'm sorry it lied to me too. He was doing good he was getting better and he went down hill again, and we lost him...a month before his birthday... I love you, I love manjiro, Emma, gramps... But this is not you, you don't yell at someone you love when your mad. Your the one who's lost yourself. Even if you became a mass murder I'd still love you, Shin"

Your throat burned, soon you saw shin broke down in tears *sob* "[y-y/n]... i..." this broke you so much, seeing shinichiro on the verge of wanting to give up.... You stepped towards him, and he pushed you away, tears streamed harder down his face. "Shinichiro, Calm down... It's gonna be okay, He's not suffering anyway. He's okay now, I know he was so young... but he's gonna be okay now, We're gonna be okay. *slap*" Shinichiro slapped you, you cupped your cheek and stepped away "..he was young, I promised our mother and father I would raise him  and Emma together and that Manjiro would become greater than me!"

"SHINICHIRO!" You yelled, slapping him across his face. "This isn't  you. You tried, it's not your fault! They were kids! And a accident happened! Shin! He's okay! Pls let's go home, we can get through this I'm hurting too."

"I'm done [y/n] the weddings off," the blunt in his voice and facial expression you furrowed your eye brows and took off the engagement ring, "fine! Here ya go!" You placed it in his hand, closing his fingers over it. "My dearest Shin, ily." And she turned around walking away. He glanced at your figure slowly disappearing then at the engagement ring, he just regretted what he had done.
