A New Case

Once the news reached everyone that they got a new case, the whole SCI team gathered together to get the details. As always Gongsun came out of the autopsy room, wearing his trademark white coat while sipping strawberry milkshake. Bai Jintang also followed him coming from the same room and Yutang made a face.

He looked distressed and said, "it's just morning.. Why are you two- ugh.. Never mind. "

Wang Shao and Zhao Hu talked among themselves about being impressed by Gongsun that he can enjoy and stomach that strawberry milk in the autopsy room in front of dead bodies. His freakish quirk always seem to amaze SCI.

(Ma Xin is Gongsun's assistant and Mahan's sister- for those who don't follow the book.)

Yutang hold up his two hands surrendering, "Not my fault. That scientist killing serial cases are now handed to us. In one week we got five dead bodies, and for now the only link is that they are all scientists or assistant scientists. And all the murders looks like an accident."

Yutang distributed all the things and informations that he got from Bao Zheng  among the team members. Then he noticed Zhan Zhao who was staring into nothing.
Yutang shook him lightly, "What happened? Why are you spacing out? "

Zhan Zhao scrunched his nose showing his remonstrance, "I don't like this case. "

Yutang chuckled, "That's new. I think this is the first time you have said that. But SCI can not drop this case. Orders came from the above as this is getting on the nerves of few people now. "

He said and dragged unwilling Zhan Zhao towards his desk. Zhan Zhao saw the pile of paper and remembered that he has a lot of things to do. Without saying anything Yutang took half of the papers and went away.
Zhan Zhao smiled, "Aren't you an angel! "

Then his phone vibrated and he saw a message coming from Bao Zheng.
"I was helpless. I don't mind if you don't solve the case. Dump it into the unsolved case after a few days. "

That message if anyone else saw it, they would find it weird but Zhan Zhao understood what it meant.
But he said to himself, "it would be impossible. Yutang does not like when things are unsolved. He would do his best to solve it as soon as possible. And if he does that some secret may uncover... "

His train of thoughts halted abruptly when Jiang Ping shouted excitedly, "Found it. "

Luo Tian asked as everyone focused on Jiang Ping. Jiang Ping said, "They are not personally related at all. None of their career paths ever overlapped with each other. But all of them attended a conference in Barcelona like eight years ago. "

"Find out what the conference was about. " Yutang said and then turned, "Scientists are all weird people. "

Zhan Zhao blinked, "Why so? "

"They seem all crazy. " Yutang said with a straight face.
Zhan Zhao wanted to protest and Yutang shut him off, "I know what I said is probably wrong but it's my inner feeling. I don't why they creep me out. "
