It's been 2 two years since Order 66 and the end of the war Niall at first took Harry and Luke to Earth and left them with Penny at Hogwarts so he could look for Jedi survivors along with Thrawn and the Valiant fleet whilst also helping prepare for the upcoming war with the Locust/Yuuzhan Vong and the Galactic Empire at the moment Niall hasn't faced Vader but Vader knows that Niall has Survived.
Second Battle Master of the Jedi Order K'Kruhk.

Niall found K'Kruhk on the edge of the Unknown Regions at that Point in time K'Kruhk was dangerously close to falling to the Dark Side of the Force but Niall helped bring him back from the edge and saved a group of young Jedi that are targets for the Empire after this Niall invited all of them into the new Jedi Order and told them that the rules of the old order are gone when it comes to failing in love and having families are gone which K'Kruhk approved of because it would make the Jedi stronger in the long run.
Third Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano

At first Ahsoka Tano had no intention of Joining the new Jedi Order but after discovering that Niall is the leader of the new Order and that he has gotten rid of the the old rules it was to good of an offer for Ahsoka to turn down when she rejoined she learn that Anakin and Padme's son had survived and was being trained by Niall as a Jedi and Ahsoka was allowed by Niall to be involved with Luke's training.
