Is she beautiful?
I'd say yes
She blossoms
and brightens everything around
We'd look for her
To see come around the corner
Is she lovely?
Isn't she?
Her hair is so lustrous
Her stride is confident
You see the water
Slide down her dusky face
Or how the sweater her granny knit
Sits so well on her body
You'd hold her hand
Hers small, and yours big
And wonder
Why shouldn't we be together
