_________________________________Error made his way into the dining room, his aching body begging him to stop doing so much walking, and the moment he entered the room he needed to be in he dropped himself into the chair next to Dream's. "Good morning Error, how are you feeling?" Dream smiled softly, handing Error an already made plate. Breakfast was chocolate chip pancakes, and Dream had made a smiley face with the whipped cream and butter for Error. Error blushed softly, appreciating the gesture, and the food, and the proud look on Dream's face told Error that Dream had these specially planned just for him... or maybe Error was reading too into it. He looked away, "I'm... OkAy..." He shrugged, "JuSt... tiRed... and I neEd A ShoWer..." he looked down at his breakfast again and he felt warm inside, a feeling that was becoming more familiar the more time he spent with Dream. "Well, that's a step forward from feeling bad, right?" Dream smiled at him and all Error could do was nod, feeling tongue tied and anxious. Dream was so... perfect. Dream was perfect and Error was not, he didn't understand why he was so nice to him, but it made Error feel so worthwhile when he knew he was truly worthless.
"Well, Error, Blue let you know I wanted to talk to you, right?" Error nodded, feeling anxious more now than ever before. Perhaps this nice breakfast and kindness was just a lead up to breaking bad news. Like telling him he wasn't welcome here anymore, that he made people uncomfortable, that he needed to leave right away and be out of their lives. He was so scared that was what he wanted to tell him, but like always, he was wrong, "Well, we got you new stuff for your room! We got you pajamas, more pillows and blankets, some knitting stuff, like yarn, and sewing stuff too, needles, buttons, thread, all the stuff you like. Oh! And we found you a chocolate scented body wash that I thought would make a cute gift, since I know you love chocolate." Dream giggled, and Error was stunned. His room? Like his? To keep? Error needed a moment to process what was said, then bursted into tears, happy tears. Dream knew Error wasn't sad, but he still concerned himself with his crying, "Oh Error, what's the matter?"
The moment Dream offered his arms, Error found himself taking advantage, hugging him tightly, feeling his body glitch at the close contact and pixelate. "I-I- wHy? I... I dOn'T... I doN't DeSeRve YoUr K-k-KiNDnEsS..." Error shook his head, squeezing Dream tightly, gripping onto the back of his shirt. Dream softly stroked Error's back, "Oh, Error, of course you do. Especially after what's happened, you need it more than ever right now, and you most certainly deserve it no matter what. You're my friend now, Error, and I love and cherish all of my friends, including you." He looked down at Error, who was hugging him at an angle so he could bury his face in Dream's shirt, who smelled good, and it was a comforting scent to Error. "I... I lOVe yoU ToO..." Error spoke quietly, blushing profusely as he kept his face buried. Dream petted over Error's back and skull, nodding, "Oh Error, you're so sweet... we have to leave now, sweetie, but we'll be back, okay? All three of us will be gone for a little while so if you need help with anything you'll have to call. Our numbers are on the fridge."
Dream's words were a relief. Ink was gone too. Error had been really hoping he was going on the mission with them, and he was overjoyed that he was, and less anxious about the possibility that he wasn't. He could actually enjoy his day. "OkAy, I wILl... bUt BeFoRe YoU Go..." Error sat up, and picked the pillow up out of his lap, outstretching it towards Dream with one hand, pulling his scarf up to hide his face with the other, "I mADe yOu SoMEThIng..." Dream stared at it with a star struck expression for a moment, then his own pupils shifted to be a shape matching the pillow, and he squealed, "Oh Error! It's adorable, and so thoughtful!" Dream smiled and took it, hugging it tight and squeezing it, "This was very sweet of you, Error." Error's face was completely flushed at this point, and he nodded, "I'm gLad YoU LiKE iT, DreAm, I uM, sTayEd UP PreTTy L-lATe tO FiNisH it." Error nervously swayed from side to side in his seat, his body pixelating for a moment before returning to normal.
