Soon enough the day had arrived. Normally, a royal birthday would be a celebration of the utmost importance. But this one was different.

This day was not a day of joy. It was the exile of the young prince who was always hidden away in the castle walls.

The citizens were not attached to the small boy. After all, he was the product of an affair, a scandal's child. Plus, they only needed one heir, two just makes it confusing.

"Citizens of Corbeau." a voice boomed over the crowd. "We are gathered here today to celebrate the exile of the scandal's child." This was the voice of the king. He was not known to be a cruel man, but that's just because of the facade the royals put up.

The crowd cheered. Of course they did. All they knew was that the child was sure to become trouble if it wasn't exiled.

And so, the king threw it off the edge of the sky island that was Corbeau.
