It had been a week or so since that dinner, and Virgil was fitting in well. Techno was definitely his favourite and the most protective, but Wilbur was a close second. Kristin was also amazing, she had a really nice garden of flowers.

He loved listening to Phil's stories, they were always fun. Tommy was annoying but it was an endearing type of annoying and he was always with his best friend Tubbo.

One day, Virgil noticed that Wilbur was not wearing his locket. "Wil, I just noticed where's that locket you always wear? You alright?" he asked, curiously.

"Uh, yeah, I'm fine. It's whatever. People come and go." Wilbur responded nonchalantly. "I'm gonna be in my room, if you want feel free to join me." The last bit was added as an afterthought.

So, a few minutes later, Virgil joined Wilbur in his room. The brunet was playing acoustic guitar. It was a lovely tune. It seemed very sad though. The last note of the song hung in the air and Virgil applauded him.

The next evening, Techno was reading in the living room. "What're you readin' Tech?" Virgil sat down next to him and looked upon the book.

"Just some Greek mythology, you wanna hear a story?" Techno turned his attention to the boy next to him. Virgil nodded. "Alright, hm, I'll read ya the story of Theseus." And so, Techno read the story almost as if he were reciting from memory.

— after the story —

"And that's what happens to heroes." Techno ended and noticed the sleeping raven on his shoulder. He did not smile, it was not adorable.

The next day, everyone was off doing their own things, Virgil didn't know what to do. So he decided to explore the large castle; its dimly lit halls seemed endless. If only he had a map, navigating would be so much easier.

After what seemed to be hours of walking, he found a garden area, filled to the brim with beautiful flowers. Some towering, some tiny, some in between. There were flowers of every size, shape and colour imaginable.

Kristin emerged from behind a wall of carnations, "Oh, hello Virgil, dear, nice to see you." She walked closer to him. "How are you today?"

"Uh- I'm good, how are you?" Virgil was still awkward around the Minecrafts, but that's fair, he only met them a week or so ago.

"I'm doing great," she replied, "say, how would you like to learn about different types of flowers and their meanings?" She asked him.

Virgil nodded, of course he wanted to know more, he was a very curious child.

And so, Kristin told him about different types of flowers and their meanings. These were the Chrysanthemum, the Lily, the Gladiolus, and many more.

In the following week, Virgil organised books with Phil in the library and did some drawing with Tommy and his best friend Tubbo.
