I always watch her everyday as the sun caresses her skin just before she opens her in the morning. Her blue eyes preventing the ocean from allowing the waves to flow freely down her cheeks. She's takes a deep breath and prepares to start her day.

In the shower the droplets mimic the tears she will never allow to flow freely down her cheeks. She always reminds herself she's stronger than she thinks. She says it in her mind over and over again,it helps her get through the day.

Slowly she walks out the shower to take out clothes that will match her mood for today. She takes a deep breath and says happy. "Today I'll be...[pause]...happy" and finishes her sentence with a loud sigh.

I watch her get dressed. She never speaks to me. She knows I'm there but she prefers to pretend like I'm not. It's been months since we talked. It started feeling normal for her but it broke me every morning when i greeted her in a soft hopeful voice and she never responds. I do it every morning knowing she won't respond but I'm not someone who gives up that easily.
