It's me and Marcus's second day here and I already don't like it that much. Maria has been constantly flirting with Marcus and I hate to admit I'm jealous. I walk down the hallway to my locker when Chico approaches me.

"Hello, Rayne." Chico says mischievously leaning on the locker next to mine.

"What do you want Chico?" I spit. He annoys me so much.

"I want to ask a little favour. Don't worry, it'll benefit me and you both." He smirks.

"How? And what kind of favour?"

"All it is you and me flirt with each other to make Maria and Marcus jealous. It won't mean anything."

"Marcus? What? I don't like Marcus."

"Rayne don't worry, I won't tell anyone but I can see it. You like him."

Shit.

"Shut up." I slightly mumble.

"So do you agree to do it?" Chico asks.

"Fine."

"Perfect here they come. They're entering the hall."

Chico starts to flirt with me and I do it back. This is so difficult. "Flirting" with someone I hate. It's horrible. Chico touches my shoulder winking at me as Marcus and Maria pass by.

"What the fuck Chico." Marcus spits.

"What's wrong Marcus?" Chico asks smiling not letting go of my shoulder.

"Get your fucking hands off her." Marcus speaks, grabbing Chicos wrist taking it off my shoulder aggressively.

"Woah bud, it didn't mean anything." Chico says putting his hands up in defence.

"Sure." Marcus grabs my wrist and pulls me with him waking away. As we pass Maria and Chico, I see Chico smiling and Maria slightly glaring at me.
Marcus pulls me into an empty hall.

"What the fuck was that Rayne?!" Marcus says just above his normal voice.

"What do you mean?!" I spit back.

"You and Chico! You two were flirting! I saw it with my own eyes!"

"Marcus you can't talk. You've been flirting with Maria the whole time we've been here!"

"What?! No I haven't!"

"Yes! Yes you have! You're always smiling and giving her a look that I can tell means you like her!"

"I don't like her Rayne!"

"Admit it!"

"Only if you tell me if you like Chico!!"

"I don't like Chico. I don't give a fuck about Chico! What about you and Maria??"

"Okay.." he says lowering his voice.
"Yes I like her."

"I fucking knew it."

He stays silent not breaking eye contact.

"Why did you react that way when I was with Chico then?" I say breaking the silence.

"I don't know.. I just care for you and hate him."

"But you were so angry."

"You know it's a bit of a problem.."
