Day two of being a student at Collège Françoise Dupont!

Not the worst school so far, I'm beginning to adjust, which is nice.

Adrien almost got banned from going to school ever again today over A BOOK. The guy seriously needs some better parents a nicer dad.

Luckily, it turns out Marinette had the book all along.

...I think it was the same book that Adrien had yesterday.

Kinda weird.

Here's how my day went, journal...

I got to school decently early today. Remember that mean girl from yesterday who I bumped into on the stairs? Yeah. She actually is in my class. Her name's Chloe, as it turns out, and she's apparently the mayor's daughter.

I know this because she keeps threatening people with the promise that her father is coming to get them.

Luckily for me, other than the confrontation on the stairs, she's pretty much avoided me.

When I got to school, I noticed the blue-haired girl at the entrance. She looked like she was talking to her pocket.

What was her name again? Mary... Marie... Marinette! Right! Marinette.

"Marinette! Hi!" I called out to her, causing Marinette to quickly look up and jump backward a bit.

"Oh! Hi, Y/N," she said, attempting to mask her surprise. "What're you doing here?"

"I... go to school here?" I replied, starting to walk up the stairs.

"Oh, haha! Sorry, I'm a little bit of a scatter-brain in the mornings! And in the afternoon. And the evenings. And always, actually."

"That's alright. Nobody's perfect," I smiled.

She didn't say anything else to me until we got to the classroom.

For some reason, I don't think she likes me very much.

Oh well.

As I stepped inside the classroom, it sounded like someone was sobbing.

A bunch of people were crowded around Chloe, who was sobbing and holding her phone. Sabrina was hugging Chloe, even though the blonde girl tried pushing her off every few seconds.

"What's up with her?" Marinette asked, as I walked over to Chloe to see what was wrong?

"ADRIKINSSSS!" Chloe sobbed, shaking more. "This is a TERRIBLE TRAGEDYYY!"

"...Are you okay?" I asked, feeling a bit awkward. I don't exactly know how to comfort people, so I decided to kind of stand off to the side and just be there.

"Adrien's never coming b-back to school! Ever! Oh..." Chloe continued to bawl.

"His dad grounded him!" Kim spoke up.

"For life," Max clarified.

Marinette's eyes widened in shock. "What? Why?!"

I was pretty shocked too. I'd only known the guy for a day, but Adrien didn't seem like the type to do something bad on purpose!

Nino shook his head. "Something about losing this major important book that belongs to his dad."

Marinette sighed in relief. "His dad? Ha! Phew!"

Most of the class stared at her like she'd just transformed into Hawkmoth infront of them.

Even Chloe stopped sobbing for a moment to hoarsely snap at Marinette, "...Phew?"
