" you didn't know kendra was missing?" officer jones asked nadine who sat in front of him, kenny had been missing for a week "no kenny said she was home sick when i asked why she wasn't at school!" nadine had found out the girl was missing hours before the officer came to her, no-one besides marcus knew 

"so kendra was never at your house?" the girl shook her head watching as the officer leaned back "you know is not good to lie especially when a kid is missing" nadine moved her chair towards the table more, her arms rested on the table as she stared at the man

"im not lying! I didn't know kenny was missing until marcus told me" she slouched in her chair waiting for the man to say something, but he got up and left. "so kendra was at your house?" mavis nodded playing with her hands

 "you didn't think to tell someone?" she continued to play with her hands

" i didn't know she was considered missing, she said she got in a fight with marcus so i let her stay. she was gone the next morning!" the man sighed while running a hand through his hair

"do you know where she went?" mavis shook her head making him sigh again 

"she left a note, it said that she was fine and she knew where she was going" she muttered as the man got up and left, the door slamming behind him "she came to your house too?" madeleine nodded "i think she was moving houses every week" the man nodded finally getting something somewhat useful "she came to my house when she left mavis's, she didn't tell me what happened though she just asked to stay" officer jones nodded leaning on the table

"when did she leave?" 

"uh she left 3 days later, she went to rowans house saying she wanted to visit but she never came back" he nodded and said thank you before leaving and going to where rowan was, he walked in to see rowan looking out the window

"Rowan Monroe?" he asked, making her turn, he gave a small smile before telling her to sit. she slowly walked over and sat across from him "i was told kendra came to your house?" she nodded while twisting her bracelet

"yeah she said marcus ratted her out and she needed a place to stay, so i let her" she shrugged looking up to officer jones "she went to tristin's after like 4 days, she didn't say why she just left a note saying she was staying at tristin's instead" he nodded wristing down the name, rowan sighed and moved in her seat 

"do you know why kendra left in the first place?" she nodded sitting up straight "marcus accidently told their parents kenny was gay, her dad was pissed" the man thanked rowan before he left to tristin's room, when the door opened the boy quickly looked up "Tristin Poverly, how you doin' man?" officer jones asked sitting in front of the nervous boy, tristin swallowed thickly "was kendra at your house?" the boy nodded 

"yeah she was but she wasn't there for that long she left 3 days later saying her mom wanted her home" he lightly tapped his fingers on the table "she snapped me saying she made it 'home' safely but the background of the picture looked like finley's so i'm guessing she went to his" he spoke quickly looking up at the man every once in a while

"Finley Monroe?" he nodded "that means she went back to the Monroe's" tristin frowned his brows

"she was there before?" officer jones nodded while standing up, he thanked tristin before leaving again. Finley sat on the table throwing a bouncy ball he found at the wall, the door opened but he didn't turn or anything making officer jones smile as he took a seat "hello Finley" the boy muttered a hi
