In which a girl goes to school with some of the black phone cast, they slowly become friends while she tries to get the person she wants. do they stay friends or does something horrible happen?
kenny walked the halls to her locker, Marcus was planning on telling her today. she was happy, she got the girl she wanted, she was friends with the black phone cast and everything was going great! school had just ended, she shoved her things into her bag before making her way outside to her car, marcus got in moments later and they were off to go home
" you okay? you seem nervous" marcus looked at his sister as she talked, he wasn't going to tell her now she could crash and they could die
"yeah im fine" she slowly nodded turning down the road to their house, the closer they got the more nervous he got. he stared out the window until she had parked, he swallowed thickly before getting out. kendra thought everything was fine, that marcus was just acting weird, she got a pop from the fridge before she went to the living room.
"did you tell her?" she heard her mom whisper, her head turned slightly so she could see into the kitchen, marcus and her mom.
"no, i can't" he shook his head making her eyebrows knit together "im not telling her, she'll hate me!" marcus whisper shouted, the girl looked away not wanting to get caught
"you have to tell her, you've lied for this long!" the woman whisper shouted back, the girl began to think about what he could have lied about "you said you tell today, you're going to" the boy shook his head glancing at kenny, she made it seem like she was watching Tv
"mom i didn't even mean to tell you guys! im not telling her" kenny's heart dropped, it was him, he told? she trusted him enough to tell him and he ratted her out, and he lied about it acting as if everything was okay. she stood up and walked into the kitchen, she sat her pop down before slowly looking up at marcus he smiled making her frown "it– it was you?" his smile dropped as she stood up straighter
"kenny– i didn't mean to! i was gonna tell you i swear, and it just slipped out!" she had a blank face, her heart shattered as soon as he said 'i didn't mean to' she was hoping it was just some sick joke or something
" i trusted you! i don't care if you 'didn't mean to' you still told and you lied about it acting like everything was fine!" she yelled slamming her hands on the counter making him flinch at the sudden loud noise "you weren't going to tell me, i heard you talking! i can not believe you marcus seriously" she shook her head making him frown
" i was going to tell you, i just wasn't going to today! i only lied because i knew you'd be mad, i– im sorry!" she scoffed
" your sorry doesn't do shit! you wanna know something? Dad was kicked out because he hit me, not because he said god awful things! and you weren't there, kae stood up to Dad because you weren't here!" she was pissed and all marcus could say was 'im sorry!' it was bullshit
