I always loved the lively feel of the woods, or the mountains, sometimes a beachside hike, though personally I didn't like those. It was the air really, thick and rich. Not at all thin and acidic like city air.
Something about the ratio of trees to people. Very scientific, though I always thought there was more magical feel to it, maybe it's just my romantic side.
I always packed the same things, cell phone, knife, water, energy bars, the sweet and salty ones, change of clothes, all combined with my hiking attire. Always make sure to wear the right kind of shoes, something I learned a long time ago. Pockets are a must as well, down with fake pockets in pants.
I turned to Alexis, and smiled widely, walking over to her with my pack slung over my shoulder, "So what are we doing today? Small hike, short run, or..."
I trail off, locking eyes with her as she seems to mull it over in her mind. Her hair was pulled over her head in a cute little bun, and her blue eyes sparkled with energy. She looked pretty with light make up, I had to say. I felt no menace or bad energy from this girl, she seemed very nice.
"I'm thinking a long hike, this trail is called wolf's path and stretches into the woods for 4 miles, though we will probably only go two or three today, today is a week before the full moon after all..." She says, clipping her back pack straps together across her small chest.
I was slightly envious of her ample B-cups. In a non lesbian way I liked smaller breasts. They just let you move so much better, and didn't drag you down stairs. I've had DD since I was in high school and it was a huge pain. Don't ever think bigger is better.
I would trade DD and back problems for b cups any day.
Realising I was staring at this woman's breasts, I tore my eyes away, and began to follow along the decent sized path that led into the woods. I walked past the oaks, and as I entered the embrace of the trees I felt a slight shock pass over me.
It sent goosebumps over my skin, and felt almost cold, but more in the thrilling way. Hell if it had lasted a second longer I would have to calm my nipples.
I shiver, and briskly turn to Alexis, my brows raised, "Uh.. did you?"
She jogs behind me and smiles softly, "Did I what?"
I shake my head, and turn back around, looking down the curving trail slightly over run by nature, "Never mind... What did you say about the wolves? Full moon?"
I tilt my head, and waited for her to walk in front of me before continuing on down the trail, watching the movement of the trees with a childlike awe, "Oh...Uh... Full moon is the wolves mating season, it's about a week away, so its okay to hike around now."
I watched the little shake in her shoulders as she said it, and I got the oddest sense she was hiding something, "Thats kind of odd... But if you say so."
We continued in silence for the next twenty minutes, and I found myself enjoying the quiet and the soft company of the woman. It wasn't so bad, wand we seemed to settle nicely into a comfortable silence. Occasionally she would point out small landmarks.
My favorite was this large tree, I couldn't think of the type at the moment, maybe a maple, that had a large hollow underneath the roots. It was just big enough for two people to lie beneath the tree, and... Okay, my mind was naughty today.
I smile widely, and Alexis turn to me, eye brows raised, "What you thinking about?"
I laugh, and point back at the tree about a few hundred feet behind us now, "I was just thinking about how good of a lovers point that would be, perfect size, no?"
She shivers, and her brows knit, "Hell no, can you imagine the spiders and dirt? Gross!"
I laugh loudly at her, and she joins in. The woods were filled with our loud guffaws, and I felt a sort of glee pass through me. It felt nice to hang out with someone for once.
After another few minutes of small talk, we decide to turn and head back, breaking out a protein bar, and munching softly on it. We didn't see the man run in the path until he fell to his knees, gasping and shaking softly.
My mind immediately processed every bad thing that could have happened, and I stand there shocked to stillness for moment. He groans softly, and his hands run over his abdomen, making me feel like he was pained in some was.
A shock ran through me, and I immediately went to help the collapsed man. He was perfectly clean, and no evidence of sweat marred his body. No injuries... No shirt... Jesus this guy was ripped.
If he wasn't currently keeled on the ground, groaning and shaking softly I might find him extremely attractive.
I am careful to reach for my knife as I jog towards him, Alexis following behind me, "Sir, are you okay?"
His head jolts up, and I take a step back, "Elise?"
"No fucking way, Drew?" I ask, taking another step back, "I- what did you stalk us here?"
His green eyes lock with mine, and air register the slight surprise, and something deeper within his eyes I couldn't translate. He shot to his feet, towering over me at his full height, his hands clenched at his side's as his eyes dart over to look at Alexis.
There was no way this was a coincidence, running into my neighbor, in the woods of all places... And why was he shirtless?
"No... I went running with my... friends." He answered slowly, turning to look at Alexis, "Why did you take this trail, you knew we were out today."
His strength voice took me slightly by surprise, and I look back at Alexis, who had a catish smile on her face, "Because I knew we would run across you."
One could probably mistake her smile and her words for flirtation, but they were more mischievous. Briefly I wondered whether or not she was a little trouble maker, but the look on her face confirmed that.
Dress shoulders bunched, and he was about to say something to us when two wolves burst from the trees, and collided on the trail. They seemed to play fight for a moment, before looking up at us, and a blackness seemed to swallow their large forms.
I scream loudly, and grab out my knife, launching over to protect Alexis as a surge of adrenalin overtakes my body. Holy fuck, these were huge, and furry... What the fuck was that blackness?
Drews face curls up in shock, then fury as he yells to the wolves, "Terry, Andrew, don't fucking do it!"
I watch as the black fog fades from the wolves bodies, and tanned male flesh is revealed. One dark man and one tan man emerge... or were revealed by the fog where the wolves had been, their faces slightly scared as their eyes locked on Drew.
"Oh fuck," they both say softly.
My mouth dropped open, and my mind roared with disbelief as I look down at the two men kneeling on the ground, then back at Drew as his eyes flung to me, as well as the two men's.
"Fuck that..." I say breathlessly, and the world fades to a weightless black.
