Sophie wanted to be alone. She didn't know what to feel. Fitz had just dumped her and she didn't want to be around people at the moment.

Why didn't he get that she just couldn't tell him who her biological mother is. basically the entire Elvin world relied on it. If one more councilor needed to be replaced there was a very high chance that the entire world would collapse. 

"Hey, you okay?"

She looked up to see a beautiful pair of blue eyes above her. She didn't care that she wanted to be alone anymore. He was one person that she could stand.

"What happened?" Keefe asked.

"Fitz." Sophie said.

"What? Did he break up with you?" Keefe asked, surprised.

"Yes."

"How?" He asked.

"I- I couldn't- Te-te" Sophie whimpered 

"Hey, it's okay. You don't need to tell me. I'm here."

"Thanks." She buried her head in his chest. And she wanted to stay there forever.

Keefe stroked her head.

A million emotions exploded through her head. And it felt right. She didn't need Fitz. He was never the right one for her. She needed Keefe. And she knew that now. And Keefe did too.

"Keefe?" Sophie asked.

"Yeah?" He said.

"I love you."

"I love you too." He said. And with that, he kissed her.
