*Ellie's POV*

I woke up to the smell of pancakes and syrup. "Oh, so Luke DID make me breakfast." I thought to myself. I slipped out of bed and slowly made my way towards the kitchen.

Just when I thought Luke was making breakfast, he wasn't. It was Beau making the extra syrupy blueberry pancakes.

"Good morning stranger!" Beau said. I smiled at him. "Wasn't Luke supposed to make breakfast?" I asked him.

"No? He told ME to make breakfast when I got up this morning. Did he tell you that he would make it?" Beau asked me.

"Yeah that's what he told me last night..."

Beau dropped his wooden spoon he was using, why was he using a wooden spoon? "Little BITCH." Beau yelled, as he ran towards the twins bedroom.

I could hear Luke and Beau screaming at each other from the kitchen. I chuckled lightly to myself as Jai walked out of his bedroom half asleep.

"Did you seriously have to make a big deal over who cooks?" Jai asked me.

"Hey, dont get mad at me, all I said was that Luke was supposed to cook. He reacted all on his own." I laughed.

Jai just smiled and sat down on the couch. I walked over and joined him.

"I'm going out this afternoon with Skip. Do you need anything?" I asked Jai.

"Erm, yeah, new brothers." he said sarcastically.

I started to laugh, which turned into gasping for air. Was it that funny? I was too tired to tell.

"Oh, I'm sorry, you thought I was joking?" Jai asked me.

I just rolled my eyes and went to my room to get dressed. I chose to wear my jean shorts with my neon pink and white crop top.

I went to the bathroom and straightened my hair and do my makeup. All done! I grabbed my purse and headed back out to the living room. 12:45pm.  

I pulled my phone out of my bag.

I smiled and put the phone back in my bag. "Okay, I'm out!" I yelled across the house.

"Bye, El! Stay safe!" Gina shouted from the kitchen.

"Always!" I replied. With a quick hug from Jai, I ran to my car. Sure, I was a bit early. Who really cares anyways?

I put the keys in the ignition, and backed out of the driveway.

I blasted my dance cd, singing not-so-quietly to myself.

I arrived in downtown Melbourne at 1:30pm. I stopped at the red light, and pulled out my phone.

Where exactly is the cafe? Haven't been here in a while. x

I received a message back almost instantly.

From: Skip Sahyounie

Lougheed street. Can't miss it. There's flowers everywhere haha x

Thanks... I'm a tad early x

**30 mins later**

"Oh my god, I missed you so much!" Skip said to me as he embraced me in a right squeeze.

"Same!" I exclaimed.

"Shall we sit?" Skip asked me, motioning to a table towards the back of the cafe.

"We can't talk standing in the middle of this place?" I asked him sarcastically.

He chuckled. "Let's go."  

He led me to the table.

"Man, the roads are insane! Why so busy on a Friday afternoon?" I asked him curiously.

"There's this really big festival that happens at the same time every year on Saturday night. Almost everybody comes. So many celebrities have been spotted there, it's crazy. I try my best to stay home that night." He chuckled lightly as he spoke.

"Sounds fun!" I said.

"Yeah, if you find paparazzi and chaos fun, then yes it's great!" Skip said with sarcasm.  

I smiled. 

I've missed him.

We talked for about an hour and a half, until we noticed it was already 4:00pm.

"Oh crap! I gotta get home to cook dinner for the boys. Gina's working late tonight. I think James is coming for supper. You should come too!" I said to him.

"That's a lot of food to make though. I mean, cooking for Beau is like feeding a herd of cows. But if your willing to make all that excess food, sure I'll come." he smiled.

"Great! I'll see you back at home then?"

"I'll be there." he smiled, and then watched me leave. I waved at him as I walked out of the restaurant.

When I got to my car, I sat in the drivers seat and got unusually comfortable. I pulled out of the parking lot, heading for the highway. I quickly opened my phone to see a new unread message.

From: Luke Brooks

When you coming home? I'm hungry!

From: Ellie Chambers

Just get a snack or something until I get back. I'll be there soon. x

Okay. x

I was just about to pull onto the highway, still paying attention to my phone, when I went flying out of the back window. I was hit head on with such force to throw me out of the rear window.

Glass was everywhere.

That was the last thing I can remember, besides the shouting of people around me.  

Was that Skip shouting?
