The secret Neighbor, The love Birds, And the Machines

Leader's House 11:23 pm.

Leader POV:

I was waiting for everyone to get here. Only I was here, along with my cat. After about 12 minutes or so I heard knocking. I went to the door to see Brave and Detective. "Hello." They said as they walked in. We sat on the couch and waited for the others. "Remember what Inventor said about Peterson watching us?" They looked up and nodded. "He has been watching me too." Detective started talking. "He has also stalked us. He probably knows where we live." Suddenly Scout and Bagger burst in the room. Scout was crying. "Peterson kidnapped Inventor!" She yelled. We all jumped from couch and started out the door to Mr. Peterson. The door was unlocked. "Why would he leave the door unlocked?" I asked. Everyone shrugged. We walked upstairs and looked for the basement keys. We split up with me, Scout and Brave. Detective and Bagger went together. We looked in closets and under beds when we soon heard stomping. Me and Brave hid under the bed while Scout hid in the closet. Mr. Peterson entered the room and opened a drawer. I just got a glimpse of him putting a blue key in it. After looking around he walked back out of the room. We got out of hiding and I opened the drawer. Sure enough it was a blue key. "We found a key. Probably goes to one of the basement locks." I told Bagger and Detective over the walkie talkie. "Meet us downstairs." We carefully walked downstairs into the living room. Bagger and Detective waiting for us. The glowing of the ornaments on the tree just seemed soothing, along with the fireplace that had stockings on it. Mya, Diane and Aaron. I thought it was weird the Neighbor would put up stockings for his dead family members.

Detective POV:

"So you found a key?" I asked Leader. "Yeah, along with a close encounter with Peterson." I figured he was here. I don't know where else he would be. I was happy my Girlfriend and Sister were all right. "So we are here to get Nicky AND Inventor, get out miraculously without getting hurt and forget this ever happened?" Scout nodded. Finally Bagger began to speak. "So how long will this take?" I spoke. "As long as you make it, now unlock the first lock."

Inventor POV:

I found myself staring at a dozen screens showing the Neighbor's house, inside and out. I also saw that one of the cameras showed my friends unlocking one of the basement locks. I wanted to scream to get their attention but I couldn't. My mouth was taped. To my right a door opened. Peterson stepped in, a smile on his mustached face. "So your pesky friends are back? I could call the authorities, for they are committing Breaking and Entering along with Property Damage." I looked at my shoes, not wanting to look at him. "Don't worry, I instead will just...dispose of their bodies. As for you, I need you for a little something." He showed me a blueprint of a spider-like machine. It looked very deadly. I knew he would force me too, so I didn't do anything and just nodded as Peterson walked out of the room.

Peterson POV:

That kid was so easy to kidnap. I just hid in the bushes outside his house and grabbed him. My house is so irregular. I have bear traps outside. Mannequins every corner and a home security system. Plus I got Inventor to agree to build my Machines.
