Scout POV:
"You like him. Don't lie to me." I told Brave. She was just whispering about how she liked Bagger. "N-no!", she lied. "I just thought I heard you saying you liked him. Must have misheard".
Detective POV:
I was Nicky's friend before he apparently disappeared. "hey Leader, are you sure this plan is going to work?"I asked."I am sure it will work."she said. We all were standing on the front lawn of Mr. Peterson's house. Bagger looked as if he were tired. "You tired"? I asked him." Yep".he replied." Can I tell you something?" He asked."sure". "I like you sister, Brave." I was shocked. Not a lot of guys at school really liked Brave. She is athletic and smart. Not sure why Bagger liked her. I didn't want him with my sister. Bagger and Brave are the only ones who aren't in a relationship. Me and Leader are and Scout and Inventor argue sometimes but are also in a relationship. But I didn't want him with my sister. "I...don't want you with my sis.". He looked disappointed. "Why?" He asked. "You wouldn't understand."I told him. I didn't want to make him more sad than he is tired. Our parents died a few months ago and we have been living with our aunt. She is pretty abusive and Brave was always there for me. I didn't want to be alone again. "Everyone know the plan?" Asked Leader. We all nodded and put the plan in motion.
