Connection's all around

Thrust into nothing but darkness, I lay on my side motionless roots growing from my body as the roots fall to what was supposed to be the ground was black like space. My hair is covered in yellow 4 petaled flowers with brown centers. They spread variously throughout my hair. I struggle to open my eyes to look around. i can feel my slow shallow breaths. It feels warm in this unknown place. I managed to peek my eyes open a bit I see a warm glow in the distance and a silhouette of a woman walking toward me she almost seems to glide toward me her hair is silver and looks soft to the touch a black triple Goddess symbol is weaved in metal forming into a crown on her head. Her lips are a lush, beautiful purple color. Her eyes are piercing light blue cresent moon earrings she is wearing can be seen shining through her hair. Her fair skin is a soft white color. She wears a beautiful blue and purple space dress filled with stars and galaxies and planets and various colors of space fill the fabric of the dress she has no shoes on. She glides up to me, crouching down to my level she smiles at me and sweetly but softly speaks to me.

" I know you have heard the stories that have come to pass told by the old wolves and creatures of the night. All of what you have heard is true, my child. Ask your questions while you still have time to do so you can not stay here long you have much work to do.
The moon goddess stands up facing me. Suddenly, I feel the weight of my body get lighter as I am able to get up into a sitting position. i couldn't stand up because the roots held me in place.

" Will you ever care for us like you do the wolves and vampires? Will humanity ever be able to save itself ? " I ask her my voice, wavering slightly with sorrow and uncertainty.

" I have always adored all of my children, and that includes humans as well. I love you all dearly.

She pauses gently, walking behind me, placing her hand on the middle of my back.

" I have said no to many humans that have come before me to ask for that which they do not deserve. to regain a connection to me. But you, you are different you didn't come to me to ask to regain your connection for any selfish reasons it is because you didn't ask me at all actually that i will grant these gifts.

" She pauses again, tracing something on my back with her pointer finger. I am warning you that if you reject your soulmate and / or betray me in some way, you will have failed the human race to be doomed to extinction. However, I know you will do well. Save as many humans along the way as you can. You dont have to save them all just enough people to last generations." She speaks in a powerful voice to me
