It had been a a few weeks since Kyubey left Dabi, it felt strange being alone again. She found that she didn't really know what to do without him, she was very lonely indeed. She knew he had people watching her for him but she wanted to see him, hearing his voice wasn't good enough. She missed his arms being wrapped around her, it was even hard sleeping without his warmth now.
When I see him again I'm never going to let him go.
She thought as she made her way back up to her apartment. She carried a bag of food from the convenience store in her left hand while she began to unlock her door but when she twisted the key she found that her door was already unlocked. Her heart stuck in her throat as she slowly opened the door. She slowly peaked inside and her eyes widened when she looked over to her couch to find an older gentleman wearing a navy blue suit. His black dress shoes were shined to perfection, his salt and pepper colored hair was slicked back out of his face. It was her father sitting there.
"It's good to know that you still leave your spare key in the same place." He said. "D-Dad?? What are you doing here?" She asked as she stepped inside shutting the door behind her as she did. "You've been back for a week, and you didn't call. Didn't show yourself? You've been missing darling. Where have you been?" Her father asked as he stood not even answering her own question. "I'm sorry... I've been busy. And I'm fine I just went on. Vacation. And before I left my phone broke, I just got a new one. I'm sorry." She sighed walking into her kitchen setting the snacks she bought onto the counter.
"Really? And what were you doing on this "vacation"?" He inquired as he followed her into the kitchen. "I was enjoying myself. Being away from the city, away from people. Most people at least...and. I met someone. He was....." Kyubey sighed as her heart stuck in her throat, tears began to form in her eyes but she quickly ignored her breaking heart and looked at her dad. "So yeah. That's where I've been. I went out to the mountains for a bit to find myself I guess. But if you'll excuse me. I've got things to do. And I'm sure you do too." She added looking at him.
He stared at her for a moment then nodded. "Take care of yourself please. Call me if you need anything." He said before turning and leaving. Locking her door behind him. Kyubey waited awhile before she quickly made her way into her bedroom, grabbing a bag she tossed it onto her bed then began to fill it with clothes.
I wanna go back. Back to him, I shouldn't be thinking like this but..I miss him. I miss him so much. I hope he feels the same too.
She thought as she continued to pack her bag.
Suddenly there was a knock on her front door, it echoed through her small apartment. She jumped slightly, there weren't many people who knew she had come back. Only her father and a couple of her friends knew, it couldn't be one of them right? They would've let her know. If it were her best friend Mina she would have just walked in and announced herself.
She slowly stepped out of her bedroom, flinching when the knocking got louder. Her father had just left and she doubted he would come back unless he genuinely needed something.
"Coming!" she called out as she crossed the living room to get to the door.
As soon as she opened it, something hard hit her head and she couldn't even scream as a hand wrapped around her mouth, pulling her back into a broad body. Her eyes widened and she tried desperately to get away, about to use her quirk, when something sharp pierces her neck.
Her vision became dotted and her body weak as she struggled against her captor. Her mind was screaming at her but she couldn't move. Eventually her body fell limp and she was being carried quickly out of her apartment building and into a black van.

The sound of Dabi's phone ringing caught him off guard slightly. He sighed pulling it from his pocket and picking up. Before he could open his mouth to speak the sound of the young man on the other side nearly panting in fear was heard.
"B-boss. Someone took Kyubey!" He spoke. His tone panicked and horrified. For a moment Dabi froze, the grip on his whiskey glass tight, "What?" came his snarling voice, the glass shattering and the woman that had been at his side jumping, her eyes wide with fear.
Aizawa raised a brow at that, glancing back at the two.
The young Mafia boss had been out on a "date" with some woman he was using to try and get rid of his feelings for Kyubey, the two seated in a VIP booth. It was starting to get awkward to listen to because it was obvious that Dabi was not interested in anything the woman had to say.
"I went to check on her like usual and she was gone. Some cameras showed her getting tossed into a van. I didn't recognize any of the men, but-"
"Are you fucking dumb?" hissed Dabi as he stood, dropping the shattered pieces of glass as his hands burned with blue flames. The woman flinched away and Dabi ignored her as he shoved by Aizawa, the man following quickly behind. "How did you let her get taken?" scowled the man, his brilliant blue eyes burning with rage and his suit feeling much too hot on his seething form.
"N-No sir-"
Dabi hung up after that, throwing open the door to his expensive car, Aizawa getting in after him. The trucks in front immediately roared to life, attempting to leave first, when Dabi shot forward, his grip on the steering wheel tight.
"Touya. What's wrong?" muttered Aizawa warily, noticing that the man was singing the steering wheel. "Someone took Kyubey." he responded, his tone cold and Aizawa winced. "No wonder..do you think you know who?" he asked slowly, not wanting to make the man even more agitated than he already was. "I don't know..maybe. Whoever it is, they are going to wish they hadn't put their hands on her."
Aizawa was silent and Dabi gritted his teeth as he sped closer and closer to his mansion. He needed to gather his men and find her soon. He didn't know what they wanted from her..what they might do to her, but he didn't want to be too late. He would never forgive himself if she was hurt or worse because of his stupid Mafia bullshit.
