"The defense is ready your honor." Miles began as Anne stood in the stands watching the trial unfold and waiting for Godot to be held accountable, for not only attacking her sister but physically harming her after promising Mystic Mia that he would watch out for her and Lyla, completely destroying her faith in him and the good memories she had with him. 'He trampled on Lyla like she was nothing and didn't even flinch when harassing her in court...he's despicable..' Looking over at Edgeworth she gave an encouraging thumbs up as he presented what would be his opening argument piece until, Franziska threatened to hit him with her whip and began to state her opening arguments, until Anne darted to stand beside Edgeworth and claimed she was his co-counsel.

"Ready, Miles?" She asked while saying, "They will throw absolutely everything they have to stop us and if it's Franzi...we're totally in for it then." She sweated after Franziska made her appearance and had protected Miles from being recognized by the Judge, who had also been presiding over his first case with Dahlia Hawthorne almost exactly five years prior on the sixteenth of February, "Unfortunately, the other Judge had to deal with this too...so you may have to bear with it for now your honor." Anne apologized to the presiding judge who accepted it gracefully after witnessing her graceful and respectful attitude, and after Bikini gave her testimony which Edgeworth had picked apart with Anne's help, and figured out that Bikini had sent Iris to ring the bell for curfew first before telling her to go to the Inner Temple.

A fact that not only Iris supported and remembered clearly but also Lyla remembered and had given a written statement to Edgeworth regarding that in the hospital, using it to prove Bikini wrong and revise her testimony to include what she remembered specifically at that time rather than the cliff notes version of events. "You're wearing the hood which wards off evil spirits correct? The one Iris wore was given to Wright the moment before she rang the bell for lights out!" Franzi tried to say Iris wore an extra good but Anne called out, "Objection!! Your Honor, what reason would she have to wear an extra hood? According to the written disposition given by Ms. Li who had seen this interaction between the defendant and Mr. Wright, she never went to retrieve a second hood or any type of spare and went to ring the bell for curfew!!"

Franziska was taken aback as the normally quiet Anne took hold of the flow of the trial and used it to the defense's advantage, "Now please continue your testimony, Sister Bikini!" The nun responded to Anne, "Okay, Mystic Anne." After giving further testimony to seeing Iris stab Elise and Lyla, of which only Lyla had still been moving even after the stab while Elise squirmed for a few moments then ceased moving. "Objection!!" Miles and Anne called at the same time with Miles explaining that Elise fell after she was killed and Lyla had been thrown into the river right before she was stabbed then tossed back in after being stabbed.

Her medical report indicating she was taken while unconscious and doused in cold water which dangerously lowered her temperature, then stabbed twice in the same wound within fifteen minutes and then, thrown right back into the river to die alone. "Did you see bleeding when the victim was stabbed and blood around her?" Bikini nodded while talking about how the sword slid out of Elise like it was slack, and then fixed it into the position it had been found in the morning after, "Objection!! The blood is important, Franzi!!" Anne told the court, "You forget that not only was Elise stabbed in that location but so was my sister!! And twice at that, so a majority of the blood would have to belong to both individuals!"

"Making the point of all the blood being Elise's completely irrelevant and making it nearly impossible to determine how much the victim actually bled." Miles had finished after deducing that the schicshito wasn't the murder weapon, with the real one being missing and having been the cause of the first stab wound for both Elise and Lyla at different times, in the same location. "The real murder weapon was taken by the killer and hidden to make sure they wouldn't be caught." Anne added, "And this killer was acutely aware of a plan sent to our defendant by her mother who had abandoned her after discovering she had no spiritual powers. Morgan Fey, who I'd currently in jail on assisting in murder of a man."
