"Are you sure you can trust that normie?"

Primrose stood at the harvest fest with Enid and Wednesday. They were staring at a boy, Wednesday had convinced to help her escape Nevermore. He was currently talking to the sheriff, who is his father.

"I trust I can handle myself" Wednesday says as they stared at the boy and his father arguing, occasionally looking and gesturing over to the three girls.

They watched as his dad walked away; Enid turning to Wednesday.

"Well, good luck and safe travels" She says, going in for a hug but Wednesday steps back.

"Still not a hugger. Got it" Enid says, letting her arms drop to her sides.

"Come on, I want to ride some rides!" Primrose says, pulling Enid away with her leaving Wednesday by herself.

After about an hour of riding rides and playing a few of the games they had, Primrose and Enid sat on one of the picnic tables, eating a burger.

Primrose couldn't help but look for a certain someone the whole time they've been there. Unfortunately, not finding him anywhere.

"He's here somewhere. There's no way we won't run into him" Enid says, making Primrose's attention snapping to her.

"Who?"

Edin deadpanned, causing Primrose to sigh, setting her burger down.

"But the only thing we haven't done is ride the Ferris wheel and I'm supposed to ride it with him" She says, frustrated.

"Dont worry, you'll get to ride it with him. Let's just finish our food and go wait in line. Who knows, maybe he's waiting there" Enid says, taking a bite out of her burger.

"Maybe" Primrose sighs, continuing to eat her food. Meanwhile, Ajax walked around the fair ground with Xavier, looking for Primrose.

Primrose and Enid finished their food and they were currently waiting in line for the Ferris wheel.

"By the time we get on I'll be already decomposed" Primrose mumbled, looking at how far they had left before it was their turn.

"Think of the bright side, at least we're closer than before!" Edin says, happily.

"Is it even worth it at this point" Primrose mumbled, going in her phone to scroll the instagram.

"Definitely" Enid excitedly says.

"Huh?" Primrose asked, looking up at the girl seeing her looking at something behind her. She furrowed her eyebrows and turned around to see exactly what or rather who she was looking at.

"Yo, what's up guys" Ajax says, walking up to them with Xavier by his side.

"Hey!" The two girls greeted.

"Well, I have to go to the bathroom, that soda is going right through me" Enid quickly says.
"Xavier, help me find the bathroom!"

"Uh o-okay?" He says, confused as Enid drags him away from the other two. They both chuckled as Ajax joined Primrose in line.

"That was not subtle at all" Primrose laughed as Ajax shook his head, laughing as well.

It began to be silent between the two before, He broke it.

"I was looking for you" He says, his hands in his pockets as he looked at the short girl.

"Me too. I was worried I wouldn't be able to ride the Ferris wheel with you" Primrose admitted.

"Well, I'm glad I asked a few people. I wouldn't have been able to find you, otherwise" He said.

The two waited in line for another 20 minutes before it was finally their turn to get on. They finally got to the top of the Ferris wheel when it stopped.

"Ugh, it's so cold up here" Primrose complained, shivering.

"Here" Ajax says, putting his arm around her.
"Better?" He asks as she smiled up at him.

"Way better" she says, laying her head on him as they overlooked everything. They finally made their way back down and they got off the ride.

Primrose looked at the time in her phone, "We have another hour before we have to head back".

"Let's go play some games" Ajax suggested.

"Those things are rigged" Primrose pouted. Ajax chuckles.

"We'll see about that. I bet I can win you a big stuffed animal" He says, smugly.

"Let's see it then"

The two walked to a booth; the one where you have to pop the balloons with darts. Ajax went after someone had finished and popped all the balloons winning a big stuffed panda.

He gave to Primrose who excitedly took it.

"It's so soft!" She says, happily hugging the stuffed animal.

"And you didn't have any faith in me" He scoffed.

Primrose playfully rolled her eyes.

"Alright, I misjudged" she shrugged, "Thank you for winning this for me" She says, hugging him. He gladly hugged her back, hoping she didn't hear his heart beating and how it increased when she hugged him. Hers doing the same.

The two went on a few more rides and played a couple games before they had to go back to Nevermore. Ajax walked Primrose to her dorm.

"I'm totally glad I got to spend that last hour with you at the festival. I had so much fun" Primrose says, happily.

"Same here" He says, looking down. The two fell in a comfortable silence.

"I'll see you later" Primrose says, going to open her door before Ajax stops her.

He stared at her, nervously. He opened and closed his mouth before finally just shaking his head.

"Never mind. Goodnight" He finally said, smiling.

"Oh okay. Goodnight" She says, quickly kissing his cheek and going inside her room. It took him a minute to process what just happened but when he did he couldn't help but touch his cheek where he had been kissed.
