"You sure your alright" The young man asked sitting in front of Gwen as she continued wrapping her hand up.
"Yeah fine" Gwen spoke flashing him a quick smile.
Her eyes moved over to Wednesday stood behind the counter helping some town kid,he looked so familiar she couldn't place where she had seen him.
"That your friend?" The man asked looking over at Wednesday.
"Please,no way" Gwen scoffed looking back at her hand.
"Well with the way you look at her,you'd think you loved her"
"I dont even know her" she looked up at him,a smile creeped onto his face.
"So you go nevermore?"He asked his eyes stuck on the badge embroidered into her blazer.
"Yep,school of freaks" she nodded.
"You don't look like one"
"Thats the magic of trickery" she laughed.
"So this isn't what you actually look like" he questioned leaning in closer.
"No,it's not...if I showed you what I actually looked like you'd start a witch hunt"
"Are you a witch?"
"No" she laughed.
"What are you?"
She looked up at him,she didn't know how to answer that question what was she?
"An abomination"
The man mouthed oh,he didnt know how to respond to that response so Gwen took that as her sign to leave.
She grabbed her jacket and some more tissue.
"Thank you for the tissue" she smiled looking back at Wednesday one last time before leaving.
She began walking towards the car all she wanted was to go back to school and get this hand stitched up.
Her eyes began to double up,causing her vision to blur,next thing she knew her body began to jolt to the right,but before she hit the ground hands grabbed her.
"Wow,are you alright?" The blurred man asked from above her.
"Great" she mumbled tightly closing her eyes.
The mam pulled her up,her eyes began to clear. And the same beautiful face that helped her in weathervane had now helped her again.
"Oh its you...again" she spoke pulling herself from his grip.
"You seem dissapointed" he laughed.
"Not disappointed" she reassured him,she held her hand towards her head waiting for the sudden zap of dizziness to dissappear.
"Lets sit down" he spoke as he sat on the curb Gwen followed sitting beside him.
"Is something off with you today?"
"Huh?"
"I mean first your breaking mugs with your bare hands then your getting dizzy spells".
"I'm fine probably just tired had a late night" she stated.
"Gwendoline stein" Gwen rolled her eyes as weems and Wednesday walked over to the two sat on the curb.
"I know you" Weems spoke squinting at the man sat beside Gwen.
"Kai távros" he spoke getting up and putting his hand out to her,she shook it finally realising who this mysterious man was.
"Your super early,you were supposed to arrive tommorow"
"Well,the train was quick so here I am" he smiled.
"Well let's get to the school and settle you in"
The man looked down at Gwen who rolled her eyes getting up and taking a seat at the back of the car,Wednesday got in next to her Whilst the man named Kai sat besides Weems.
"What happend to you?" Wednesday asked shocking Gwen. She turned her head slowly looking at the dark figure sat beside her.
"You speak?"
"Obviously I speak,I am human"
"Barely" Gwen laughed.
Wednesdays eyes moved down to Gwens hand then back up at her face.
"So?" She asked once more.
"I broke a cup" Gwen finally answered cradling her hand.
"Hm,interesting" Wednesday spoke nochantly. Weems started the car and began driving back to school.
Gwen sat in silence,every now and then looking over at Wednesday shocked by her sudden spark of a conversation a couple minutes ago. She couldn't wait to hear more from her.
