"It was your fault!"

Eugene scolded the man walking in front of him.

"It wasn't me who was loud."

The other reasoned but Eugene countered it again.

"But it was you who started it."

Riel raised both his hands like he gave up and helplessly said.

"Ok fine,it was me."

The youth let out a hum and the anger on his face was gone. How moody.

Earlier when they were having a staring contest,he just smiled a little and that's when Eugene gasped in shock which made them both kick away and was banned from the library for two days.

He was confused why Eugene was shocked,yes Riel didn't know that he was smiling at that time which made the originally cold beauty bath into the sun and melt to become a calm and warm that symbolize the winter had ended and spring was coming.

"Why were you so shocked earlier?"

Riel curiously asked.

"You don't know?"

The youth answered with a question, his eyes slightly wide opened.

"If I knew then why would I even bother to ask?"

Hmm,Eugene nodded his head. He had a point but sometimes even if people knew the answer to their question they still would ask just to make sure.

"You smiled. Ouch"

He touched his nose after bumping on the walking wall.

"Why did you stop?"

But the person in front of him was silent.

I actually smiled?The smile that didn't have a bad intention or something?

"Hello?Hi?Are you still here on Earth?Mr.Riel,Sir?"

Riel blinked and his flying mind was finally back to land which made Eugene breathe a sigh of relief when he saw it.

"Earth?"

"Ha?"

"What do you mean by earth?

Riel saw the disbelief look of the youth which made him confused even more about the situation.

"Aren't we on earth?The planet between Venus and Mars?The Sun,the Moon?"

"Planet?Venus?Mars?"

He knew the Sun and the Moon but the others,he didn't.

Gasp.

Science actually didn't exist here. Well it was ancient time so maybe someone still hasn't discovered it. He shut his mouth and pretended like none of the conversation happened. He doesn't want to talk anymore,maybe later he'll accidentally spill his secret which was not good.

Seeing the youth suddenly get silent his heart was in turmoil,he really hates it when someone close to him was keeping a secret but he also knew he didn't have a right to ask that's why,sigh.

He calmly breathed and suppressed his chaotic heart and mind. Riel really wanted to grab the other's shoulder and question him for an answer, however he didn't want to hurt him.

He could only wait until the other spilled it first. Besides, he himself was also hiding one.

"S-

"Your H-"

A Royal Knight suddenly shouted but immediately choked when he saw the icy glare that was directed on him.

What? What did he do?

"What?"

Brrr,why is it suddenly becoming cold? Isn't it supposed to be a sunny day?He looked up and saw the blue sky and the bright sun.

"Do you want me to repeat myself?"

He flinched by the other's tone of voice then stammered while speaking.

"H-his M-"

"I understand, you can go."

Huh?He did?But I haven't said anything yet.Confirming that he really did understand,the pitiful Knight could only flee for his life.

Eugene, who was watching on the side, couldn't help but admire the man. The other person was a Knight but Riel didn't feel intimidated at all.

When Riel turned his gaze on the person beside him he was dumbfounded inside and expressionless outside. He was stared at by a pair of sparkling eyes. It was a close one,that Knight was about to reveal his secret. Should he fire him?

"Let's go and stroll around."

The youth looked at the direction the Knight had fled then at Riel,wasn't he supposed to follow that man?

"Wasn't the Knight looking for you?"

"He wasn't."

It's the Emperor who was actually looking for me but let him go mad on his own. My time with Eugene was more precious than talking to him with boring topics. And he was also pretty sure that his caring father would just scold him.

"Are you sure?"

Riel nodded his head and that's when Eugene stopped asking about it anymore.

The two then started to walk again,Eugene was only following the other as he didn't know where they would go and take a stroll.

"Want to explore the city?"

The city?Isn't the city far from here?How would they go there?Walk?If yes then it was really a 'stroll'.

"We'll walk?"

He looked at the others back while frowning.

The other just shrugs and casually answers.

"If you want."

Ha?If I want?This guy,he sometimes understood him while most of the time he didn't, like now. Eugene was confused,if he wanted to walk they would walk to the city then if he said he didn't want then what?

It wasn't like they could use a carriage,just by their status it was impossible. Even if they ask politely, the people who manage those carriages would likely refuse them,unless it was related to work.

Do they need to lie then?As he was thinking things he suddenly felt someone holding him which made him shocked.

"Stop daydreaming while walking,it's dangerous."

He then only realized he was about to bump on a wall if Riel didn't grab him. Embarrassed, he said his thanks towards the other and just focused on walking.

But he was still curious so he couldn't help but ask.

"Do we really have to walk?"

Riel answered with an obvious helpless tone.

"No"

Eugene shut his mouth and didn't speak again,trying to guess if the other got angry. He quietly followed behind the other,like a newborn chick following the mother hen.

The servants they passed by were completely shocked by this scene but they didn't dare to show it on their faces as they continued to do what they were doing. I didn't see anything.

The two were quiet until they reached the palace gate.

At this point,Eugene finally concluded. Oh,they would really walk.
