Evening, the night was supposed to be quiet as people like to go to bed early but it wasn't for some households.

“Please don't take my husband! He didn't do anything wrong!.”

“Daddy! Daddy!!”

The mother and daughter were restrained by the Knights. The mother tried to plead for the man who was being arrested by the other Knights while the daughter wanted to go towards his Father to hug him.. They don't have any idea what's happening but this didn't stop them from asking for mercy and spare them.

Because they know, once caught it was impossible to go back anymore unless the person being arrested could be proven to be innocent.

This is just one of them, while…

Slap.

“What did you do?!”

An angry voice sounded inside a study room, the person who got slapped looked at his Father in shock.

The white hair old man pointed his index finger at his son. He wanted to scold him and beat him but the only thing that came out from his mouth was ‘you’ and before he could do anything to vent his current emotion, there were footsteps coming towards upstairs.

They also heard their families' voices trying to stop people, persuading them to calm down but what could they do? The Knights mightily walked towards the study room, where the old man and his son were located.

Before the old man could say anything, his son was arrested and a person blocked him from speaking.

“Suspected of harming the Royal family’s life. Don't try to help him escape, his Highness' kindness is limited.”

The old man already knew what his son had done so he didn't waste his energy to help his son to escape.

When the mansion became quiet, the old man sighed and told what happened to those confused family members.

“You should rest more.”

Cariell helped Eugene to tuck the quilt on his body, he even wanted to roll Eugene like a sushi inside but the latter stopped him on time.

“If I lay here every day, won't I become paralyzed?”

“That's fine, I can take care of you.”

So, the scene of Cariell hugging the young man on his arms while gently patting his back to help him sleep made the Knight who was tasked by the General to report stunned on the doorway but after all, he also saw almost everything between the two so he immediately come inside and slowly closed the door.

He saluted first before he said,

“Reporting to Your Highness, all the nobles were put in jail.”

The incident just happened this afternoon and his Highness already arrested everyone who's behind the scene of everything, however, for Cariell, this speed is still slow for him.

If he didn't want to separate from Eugene again as he was afraid something would happen when he was gone, he maybe went to those houses on his own to get those people with his own hands.

When he felt the young man on the bed was already asleep so he told the person waiting for his response what he wanted.

“Just follow the General’s order.”

He wanted to torture those people with his own hands but accompanying his baby was more important.

The Knight understood what he meant so he didn't say anymore and left like a thief.
