"Hey."

Enid eyes shot up from her book as she spotted the boy with a beanie. "Hi?" She asked in a more questioning tone than statement.

"I haven't really spoken to you in a few months and I hope that we didn't get off on the wrong foot-"

Enid cleared her throat as she looked around. No Wednesday in sight. "I don't even know who you are."

He let out a small chuckle, "I'm trying to be serious with you for the moment."

"I seriously don't know who you are. If you were one of my friends then you should know that I have no memory or information about what has happened in the last 3 years. My mind is still back to 2019. I'm still trying to settle down with the thought that I'm 16."

Ajax nodded as he seemed to believe her, "I'm sorry that happened to you, and we were friends, almost more than that at one point."

Enid raised her eyebrow as she nodded along with his words. "Why didn't we become more than friends?"

"I became a jerk and your heart was captured by someone else." Ajax admits sadly as he shoved his hands into his front pocket. "How's Wednesday taking this all?" He question.

Enid shrugged, "we agreed to breaking up, because I knew nothing about her and I can't be with someone that I don't know anything about."

Ajax grinned, "I guess that's my que, I would love to tell you everything about myself. So you can... get to know me."

Enid shook her head as she rolled her eyes, "I can see what you meant there but it was ideal good."

"Come on, give me some points at least." He grinned some more. "One date, and we can get to know each other. I'll tell you about me and you tell me about this new you."

Enid looked back up and around for Wednesday but there was no sign of her.

"We can hang out but it's not a date. I already have to deal with my werewolf side, and then helping my ex girlfriend get my memories back. It's going to be too much to get into a relationship."

Ajax raised his hands in defense. "We don't have to get into a relationship right away. We can take our time and until you are ready." He suggested.

A dark smell of dead roses came about and Enid sighed. "I think you should go."

"Why-"

"Do you enjoy all your fingers?" Wednesday asked as she stood with her hands crossed. "I think you should get lost before you loss them."

"You aren't scaring anyone, I promise you that." Ajax crossed his arms as Wednesday stepped up to him.

Enid got up and stood between them, "guys stop."

A light flashed before her eyes.

"Well you still aren't leaving." Ajax assured to her as he crossed his arms.

Wednesday stepped up to him without any remorse she twisted his arm and held it right behind his back as he groaned in pain. "I leave when I want. No one tells me what to do."

"Let him go, Wednesday." Xavier demanded as he tried to step up to them.

Wednesday pressed down harder as Ajax screeched. "No, you're not anyone's boss and you damn sure not mine."

"Let him go, Wednesday." The sound of Enid's voice echoed throughout the room.

Wednesday looked over at the door entrance and she held back a smile as she sighed. "Fine." She groaned and pushed the boy away from her.

Enid gasped as she found both Ajax and Wednesday with worried faces. "Did you have another memory?"

Enid nodded slowly, "yeah, but it didn't tell me much, just that you two have a rough history together."

Ajax rolled his eyes, "just let me know about what I said." He smiled before walking off.

Wednesday sat at the library table that Enid was previously sitting at. "I think he'll look the same without his teeth, don't you think?"

The werewolf crossed her arms before sitting down next to Wednesday. "Why can't you be a little nicer?"

The goth nodded with and unfazed look, "yeah, let me be nicer knowing that one of my rivalries is flirting with my girlfriend and my girlfriend is allowing it. That makes so much sense." She turned towards the book that Enid was previously reading. "What's this about?"

Enid chewed on her bottom lip as she hesitated took the book out of her ex girlfriend's hands. "I agreed to you helping me with the whole getting my memories back but I didn't agree that we were dating. I know that's a horrible thing to say but face it, Wednesday, I don't know you at all."

"And you were just willing to get to know Ajax, that says a lot." She groaned before getting back up from the table. "I am going to go write my novel." She started to walk off.

Enid felt like an douche bag, she stood up from the table. "Wednesday...just tell me what you want. I know you're feeling something and I can't really help if I don't know."

"What's going to happen when you get your memories back? Are you just going to keep them and go on with your life? Are you going to be with me again? I never in my life had to worry about someone and you just have me no matter if you want me or not, and that's dangerous."

—"I don't know what the future would tell, I want to be able to make you happy but I'm just being real. If all my memories don't come back then what? Are you going to get me to fall in love with you? I want to help but you have to see where I'm coming from. Right now you are a complete stranger and I'm trusting you with a lot." Enid pointed at as she fidgeted with her fingers.

Wednesday sighed, "yes."

"Yes what?"

"Yes I'm going to get you to fall in love with me. I just need your permission."

Enid was a bit confused, "permission? What are you talking about, Wends?"

Wednesday noticed the nickname but she didn't say anything, not like the other times she did. "Give me 2 months and I'll not only get your memories back but I will get you to realize your feelings. If not then I will leave you alone and you can be free to flirt with Ajax as much as you want."

"Wednesday..."

"You agree to the deal or not?" She asked with no remorse.
