Chapter 5:Shoto's Surprise

"Sho-...I...it's wonderful!"

"Thanks, I thought you might like it."
He took me to a place only we knew .....a secret place, now decorated by shoto with fairy lights and a picnic blanket with a basket full of goods.
Our parents had found this area..it was so secret and magical that the decided to buy the land together. They even built a little cabin/treehouse here for us if we wanted to stay here when we would get older.

"Sho...You remembered.!" I said as I saw the writing on the cake he bought.

"Of course I would remember your Birthday!"

We had a lovely time eating the cake and snacks, cuddling and exploring.

"Let's make our bed in the cabin. We'll sleep here tonight."-Sho

"Wait.. what about the curfew and the dorm restrictions and-!!!!"

"We don't need to worry, I pulled a few strings and we are allowed to sleep wherever we're comfortable in."

"Thanks Sho."

"Wait..are these new mattresses?"

"I bought them with my old man's credit card."
We both let out a giggle as we thought of endeavour trying to find out how his money had lessened in just a couple days.

We were reading books and telling stories to eachother while the animals made soft noises near the forest.
After a while, we fell asleep and the next morning there was yet another surprise waiting for us.
Haru stood there, waiting for us.
"Haru!!"- My eyes filled with tears of happiness.

"Hey, little sis!"

They were not really my brother, but they consider me as his sister. They also think of Shoto like a cute, aloof brother.
They were there for us when our parents were away, they used to be our neighbour but they were more like a roommate who sometimes lived in a different house. They  didn't come from a rich or wealthy family but we didn't mind. As long as he was there, we were safe.
    Their quirk was Barrier, which pretty much explains itself.

"Oh Haru...You don't know how much I've missed you!!!...."

"I've missed the both of you too."

Shoto came and hugged together with us. It was a great moment. We then made breakfast and ate it together in the comfort of th cabin.

"I think we should go now shoto. We have to atleast report back to school before we can have any fun."

"Alright, you carry the backpacks, I'll carry the baskets..."-Sho

"..and I'll carry the mattresses."-Haru

"Thank you Haru!"

We then took all our luggage and Haru went to the storage room outside my dad's house to keep the mattresses while we went back to UA.
"Hello, where are your ID's?"

"Wait...I have them here." -Hikari

"Thank you, please enter our scanner to see if you are a shape shifting villain."

"Sure" We both said.

After the scan, we went into the dorms. Checked back in with Ms Nemuri and ran to see Haru.

"Hello again. Hikari your dad wants you."-Haru

We walked to the bus station and then got on the bus that took us to my neighborhood.

"Hi dad, what do you need?"

"Well I need someone to help me take care of the cafe since Aki was ill and I thought of you three."

"Oh dad!"

We then got to work, and it was a busy day, there were so many customers.
On the way back, Haru decided to drop us to UA.
We were on the bus again when all of a sudden the bus stopped and jerked onto its side. A villan was outside, a hero trying to stop him.

"Hikari, are you ok?!."-Haru

"Yeah, I'm fine what about you and Shoto?"-Hikari

"We're both fine" they said in unison.

"Let's get out of the bus and try to get the people to safety."

Shoto used his quirk to hold the bus in place so that it wouldn't crash while Haru and I protected the people. Haru used his barrier to take people to a safe place and I made sure the villain would not harm them before the barrier was used on them.

After the fight, i got into a bit of trouble....I forgot that I left my hero licence at school!

They told me off and let me go. The next time, they wouldn't be so kind.. Haru was training at another hero school across the country, he had come for the holidays, so he had his licence.

I wish I was more careful.
