I felt the car slow down as I opened my eyes for the first time in several hours. We had been driving about ten hours in total, which means that we're most likely soon at our destination.

We hadn't fully stopped yet though. We had turned onto a small road of gravel. We drove onto a big space surrounded by nature. There was ivy, red and black roses and a large, fluffy orange cat which was sitting by a bush of roses.

We parked on the gravelpath in an area which was a lot bigger. There were also some other cars in the parking lot. Most looking pretty fancy and a bit older.

Omega unbuckled his seatbelt. He turned back and looked at me for a moment. "Oh good, you're awake. C'mon, let's get your things inside." He spoke with his deep and calm voice. His voice could make me blindly follow whatever he said. It was just that perfect. Kind but also somewhat dominant. I'd be scared to make him mad and his voice and overall appearance made me think that I was most likely not the only one who though in that way.

I quickly left the car and walked over to the back. I took one of my suitcases and Omega took the rest of them, except for a small backpack which I took. Then we started walking on the long path. We were walking fir a few minutes until I saw it. The church.

A huge building. A bit bigger then the fanciest churches I'd seen down in Stockholm. The exterior was of gothic design and was painted with dark colors. On the beautiful walls there was a giant door, there was also a symbol above the door which I barely recognized. Almost like a cross? No, they're satanists, crosses are a christian thing, right? Yes, It was an upside down cross-circle thing. I'd have to ask about that later.

Omega opened the large doors as we were met with the interior of the ivy covered building. The inside was mainly decorated with blacks and silver. The floors were black and weren't wood or a rug. They were big stone tiles that would most certainly click when stepped on. There was a big chandelier with quite a few lights on. The lights resembled black candles however I couldn't tell if they were fake or not. The walls were painted black and had old portraits hung on them. Most were of men in skull paint but some were also women and some I recognized as ghouls because of the peculiar masks. There was one painting which portrayed a ghoul wearing a very old looking plague doctor mask. Underneath the painting was a silver plate with the words "Läkargast - år 1401". Underneath the text it said the translated words in english. "Healer ghoul - year 1401".
I assumed that this was a ghoul who helped heal people during the black death.

We were walking down the hallway with all the paintings as we got to some stairs. We were careful while walking down the stairs. They were long and it wasn't easy to see, so he had to be careful while carrying my luggage.
He led me down a corridor where we were passing a bunch of rooms. They had two silver name plates on the front. One which had a name of some sort engraved. Like "Omega", "Alpha", "Mist", "Cirrus" etc. They were pretty strange names but am I really in a fair place to judge? No, not really.

Then the was a nameplate with an element of sorts, followed by an instrument. Some doors also had a third plate with "Trainee" engraved in a beautiful cursive font.

Omega led me to a door with an empty plate on. The door was empty as well. The only thing on my door that was the small "trainee" engraved in the silver. He let go of my luggage for a moment until he found a pair of keys that he opened the door with. We both stepped in as he took the keys out and closed the door.

"The other ghouls may meet you later, but they may also stay away from you for this week. Don't worry though! They're just in heat and don't really want to deal with all that." Damn, all this 'heat cycle' stuff sounded really bad. Luckily I won't need to endure it until I'm older.
"You're allowed to decorate the place 'n all. You can basically do anything here. The only thing we ask of you is that you keep your mask on in front of humans. Unless in human disguise then, but even when disguised most ghouls decide to cover their faces"
It doesn't seem too hard to follow, pretty simple, actually.
"Okay" I replied. with a nod.
"I'll let you put away your things and decorate or whatever. I'll be back in a while to give you a tour of this place."
I nodded in response as he gave me the keys, then left. I now had time to look around some.

The room had a black and pink color scheme with a desk, some shelves, a bed and a wardrobe. I went over to the black wooden wardrobe and opened it. The inside was hot pink with black clothes hangers. There were also some drawers for me to put things like underwear in. Beside the wardrobe there were three baskets. One was pink, one was white and the other was black. I assumed that they were different colors because of different colors of laundry. I took one of my suitcases and opened it. This one was filled with clothes. I started to hang clothes in one by one. Then putting my undergarments in the built in drawers.

After putting away my clothes I put some of the other things I'd brought in fitting places. Once I was done I pulled out my phone and headphones. Then I turned on "Elizabeth" and sat down in the big, comfortable bed. Laying on my back, staring up at the dark pink ceiling.

'I could get used to this place..'
I said to myself, all alone, once again.
