What if your middle school cleaning lady told you you're destined to prevent a war between two gods and the total destruction of the world as you know it?
Would you believe her? Neither did I.
But then, a glowing halo showed up around my head, marking me as the daughter of Belobog, the White God.
Despite the special light manipulation power I got, which might just be the coolest--or scariest--thing ever, I let the gods know about a complication: I'm to return home asap, or child services might take me away from my mom.
However, when monsters from the shadow plane make an appearance, I find myself whisked away to another realm, trying to stop them with all my might.
But traveling with my childhood-best-friend and potential crush Max and adapting to a fantastical new world is nothing compared to learning how many dark secrets the shadow plane hides.

AUTHOR BIO: Ever since I was a Littlelyn, I was lost in the world of literature so it is not surprising I pursued English Language and Literature as my professional career.
I hold two PhDs, one in Latin American literature, and the second one in the English and Comparative Literature. I currently teach at Complutense University of Madrid as an assistant professor, specialising in 19th century literature.
Exciting news: I am about to do postdoctoral studies, too!
As to my writing achievements, they are all Wattpaddy <3 I managed to win an Open Novella Contest 2020 with my amazing coauthor Rainy (RainerSalt), whom I wouldn't be able to achieve it without. I feel so lucky to have been able to cowrite with him.
What else? I also won Ambys 2021 Award, and got Shortlisted in the Wattys two times! Once in 2018 and then once again, this year. Just recently I was invited to Wattpad Creators Programme. This is a pinnacle of my writing success. *throws confetti* *swallows one* *coughs profusely*
