This is going to be Fluff :3

Topic: The reader works in the same factory as Claire but their boss isn't happy with their work so the reader has to work in a different department and then meets Claire. The wrench is very nice and shows the new coworker around and the two became good friends.

This will mostly be in a 3rd person point of view.

3rd person POV:

"Can't believe I was told to move departments just because my work isn't good enough! Ugh! I hope the department I am going to is better than the last one." thought Y/n in their mind as they followed their boss to their new department. The boss looking at Y/n from time to time making sure they are still following him.

Claire's POV:

"Can't you believe it Andy? We are getting a new coworker!" I exclaimed to Andy all happily.
"Yes I've heard." chuckled Andy. Duncan looked away from his computer to look at Claire.
"Ohh A new coworker? Hope it's not going to be like the last time.. Are they going to work with you on the bits and parts or with me on the computer?" asked Duncan.
"I am not entirely sure actually.. but let's start working while the boss gets them here." I said.

3rd Person POV again:

The door opened and there stood their boss and Y/n.
"This is where you'll be working from now on. I expect your performances start to get better than last time. If your performances doesn't improve then I will have no choice but to let you go." said their boss in an angry tone.
"Y-Yes Sir!" Y/n exclaimed fearing they will be unemployed.
Their boss left as Y/n walked in the department.
They noticed three wrenches looking at them.
Claire walked up to Y/n.

"Oh! You must be the new coworker! It is nice to meet you! What's your name?" asked Claire as she shook Y/N's hand.
"Nice to meet you too Claire! I'm Y/n." they said.
"I will introduce you to the others and show you around, alright?" Claire asked as she noticed Y/n was staring.
"Oh my God, She is so pretty.." thought Y/n not noticing that they were staring.
Claire waved her hand in front of Y/n's face.
"Hello? Earth to Y/n?" asked Claire worried.

Y/n snapped out of their trance, face turning red.
"I-Im sorry! I didn't mean to stare!" Y/n said as they started to profusely apologize.
"Hey Hey, It's okay! Let's go introduce you to the others then I'll show you around, okay?" said Claire.
"Alright!" said Y/n as they followed Claire.
"This is Duncan, He helps with the computer!" Claire exclaimed as she pointed to Duncan.
He waved at them. Y/n smiled and waved back.
"And this is Andy! He will be working with us two!" She said pointing to Andy as he tried to get the machine working.
Hearing a little "aw man" from Duncan.

"Come! I'll help you start your work!" Claire said sweetly as she dragged Y/n to their work station.
"This is where we will work!" Claire exclaimed.
"What do we do here?" asked Y/n.
"Well we are making bits and parts!" exclaimed Claire.
"Although sometimes I feel a bit like the parts are making me!" said Andy as Claire and him laugh a bit.
Y/n just giggled. "Yep I'm a little bit of a cheeky guy sometimes hehe!"
"Yeah I wish!" Claire said as she laughed a bit more before turning to Andy.
"Turn on the machine Andy!" Andy listened and turned the machine on.
"So, all you have to do is just.." Claire said as they squished the grey blob and it turned into a random part.
"Woah.." y/n said surprised. "Your turn!" Andy said as he made a grey blob fall from the machine again.

Y/n did the same motion as Claire did and the blob turned into a part.
"Wow! Good job teammate, Now that's what I call a quality product!" exclaimed Andy as Claire put the part in another machine that had "Quality" and "Faulty".
"Good job Y/n! I can see you'll be a perfect fit in this job." Claire said as they smiled at Y/n.
They smiled back slightly blushing.
Claire then proceeded to show Y/n around the department until they all heard a buzzer.
"Oh it's lunch time! C'mon Let go eat lunch!" Claire said as they dragged Y/n back.
Y/n followed behind still holding onto Claire's hand.

You stared as a Vending Machine that had "The Mr Lunch".
"🎶The vending machine. It's the vending machine, We all eat lunch from the vending machine! It's the vending machine, that's the vending machine. We all eat lunch from the vending machine!🎶" Claire, Andy, and Duncan sung.
Y/n just stood there awkwardly not knowing the song of course.
"🎶 Some people say it's not real food, but I quite like it and I think you would too! 🎶" finished singing the trio as they walked one by one to get their food.

"Hi there! How are you? How is your child?" asked the vending machine to Andy.
"Good thanks! I like my child, but not as much as I like my lasagna!~" Andy said.
"One restaurant style lasagna, coming up!" said the vending machine.
"Hey Duncan, Do you know what to do after lunch?" Y/n asked Duncan.
"Hey come on! Let's not talk about work over lunch." said Claire.
Andy laughed and jokingly said "Yeah, Don't talk to Claire until she had her lasagna"
Duncan and Claire started laughing with Andy.

"You must be the new one, I've been hearing so much about you! How are you? How is your child?" Asked the vending machine to Y/n.
"I'm doing good, thank you. And I don't have a child.." Y/n said getting quiet near the end.
"One restaurant style lasagna, coming up!" said the vending machine. " And don't forget your hot black water! On the house. Mmmm! It's good." said the vending machine. "Oh Yum, Lunch! Thank you!" Y/n said as they walked to Andy.
They all sat down eating lunch peacefully.
After lunch Claire, Y/n and Andy kept making the bits and parts until the end of the day.
There was a buzzer going off. "What's that buzzer mean?" Y/n asked turning to Claire.
"Oh well that's the end of shift buzz! Time to go home for today." exclaimed Claire.

Y/n patiently waited for Claire at the exit.
"Oh Y/n! I thought you were going home?" Asked Claire obviously confused.
"Well, I was wondering if I could.. you know.. walk you home? I-If it's ok of course!" stated Y/n.
They didn't want to seem like a creep so the better option was to ask permission.
"Oh Of course it's alright!" Claire said sweetly.
They walked and talked about their interests until they arrived at Claire's house.
"Oh! Looks like we are here!" Claire told Y/n.
"Aw that's ok, I hope I didn't make you uncomfortable in any way" said Y/n in a sincere tone.
"We'll I have to get going, I'll see you at work tomorrow!" Claire said as they gave them a sticky note.
The note had her number saying "Let's be friends and keep in touch :)".
As soon as Y/n arrived at their house they couldn't help but squeal in happiness and quickly put it Claire's number on their phone.

They can't wait to see their new friend at work again tomorrow.
