1. Cover (/10)

Is the cover eye-catching? Does it suit the theme and mood of the poem?


2. Title (/10)

Is it apt and innovative? Does it go with the mood of the poem?


3. Description (/10)

Does it describe the poem aptly? Is it too lengthy or short? Does it hook the reader? 


4. Poem Flow (/15)

Does the poem flow naturally and conveniently? Are the stanzas divided accordingly? Are breaks provided in the right places?


5. Rhyme Scheme (if any) (/15)

Is the use of rhyme scheme (if any) appropriate? If there is no rhyme scheme, does the poem proceed smoothly without it? Does the poem without any rhyme scheme read poetically, or simply like a paragraph?


6. Grammar and Vocabulary (/20)

Are there too many spelling or grammatical errors? In case of poetic liberty, does it disrupt the meaning of the poem? Is the usage of words and the vocabulary appropriate?


7. Overall Enjoyment (/20)

Is the poem overall enjoyable? Is it successful in conveying the message (if any)? Can the reader feel the emotions and moods portrayed in the poem?
