Rules

Who likes rules? Not me. Most likely not you. But since everything needs rules to proceed smoothly, let's get this part over with and then move on to more interesting and exciting things.

Alright, so, to make a successful entry into this Award, either as a participant or as a judge, you need to follow the instructions. Be careful about the fact that your entry may not be accepted if you're not done with the rules.

Participants Rules

1. Follow this account (@wordywonders) permanently. 

2. Vote on all four chapters of my book 'The Curse of Horror'. Commenting or reading other works of mine is truly welcome and appreciated, but that's optional.

3. Add this award book to both your Private and Public reading lists so you don't miss any notifications.

4. Give a shoutout to this award book on your message board (not just the link to the book, but a proper shoutout) and make sure to tag me in the announcement so I know you've done it. Don't forget to click the 'Announce this to your followers' button.

5. Once your judges are announced, follow them permanently. Yes, permanently! Come on, an award can't proceed without judges! They're giving in their time; they deserve this much!

6. All books must be in English. Books in any other language will not be accepted. 

7. Maximum three books will be accepted from one account, and they should be in different genres. Two books from the same account in the same genre cannot be accepted.

8. Books and novels should have at least three chapters. Poetries and short story compilations must have a minimum of two chapters.

9. Your work should have less than 1.5k reads. This is just to promote the newer books out there which are not recognized enough.

10. Please inform me if you unpublish your book, rename it or rename your account in the duration of the awards.

11. No type of cheating, bribing, rude comments, or any such type of activity will be tolerated. If caught, you will be eliminated from the award immediately along with getting your account reported to Wattpad.

12. Password is your favorite type of cake, 'coz admit it, we all love cakes!

Judges Rules

5. You can be a participant, but of course not in the same genre as you're judging.

6. If you are judging books, novels and similar genres, you need to read at least three chapters of the book. For poetries and short stories, you are required to read at least two chapters.

7. Make sure to vote on the chapters of the books you judge. Commenting is optional, though it's always appreciated.

8. Please be sure to complete your judging by 26 January, that is, within three weeks. We need to avoid any possible delays. For your convenience, you can choose between reading five or ten books.

9. Please inform me as soon as possible if you want to withdraw from judging after giving in your name for it, 'coz in that case I'll need to find a new judge or judge the genre myself, both of which are going to take some time.
