After the night at the fair, Xavier sent Adelina a concerning text,

Xavier <3

hey

hi xavier

have you seen Rowan?

no why?

he never came back last night
I'm worried about him

He's probably off somewhere doing
whatever Rowan does, I'm sure he's fine

Probably, I'm just worried

I get it, but just try to sleep.
he's probably gonna be back in
the morning

okay, goodnight

goodnight Xavier

The next morning Adelina, along with every other student at Nevermore, found out that Wednesday Addams was claiming to have seen Rowan being killed by a monster in the woods at the fair. This was quickly found to be false when Rowan showed up at school, very much alive and well, as well as Rowan can be that is.

"See Xavier I was right, Rowan was fine and he showed up in the morning," Adelina said walking beside her crush,

"I guess, but why would Wednesday say she saw his murder? It doesn't make sense, and that he was expelled," he questioned,

"I don't know. I don't know why people do things. Maybe she was on acid, maybe she was just bored. But what matters is Rowan is safe and alive, even if he was expelled. Now, I have to go help Enid paint a canoe," Adelina explained to him, walking towards the other members of Ophelia Hall,

"Yeah okay, have fun with that. I'm gonna go shoot some arrows. See you at dinner," he waved talking towards the archery targets and Adelina towards a certain colorful werewolf.

Eventually, since this was school, the students had to go to class. It was currently time for the study of carnivorous plants. Enid and Adelina were sitting in their usual spot behind Xavier, who sat alone (He and Ajax used to sit together but they were separated). And that is where Wednesday was now sitting, next to Xavier.

"What's with the face?" Enid asked Adelina who had a sour expression,

"Oh nothing," she mumbled watching Xavier animate the spider he had been drawing in his notebook, he was definitely trying to impress Wednesday. Then the lights flickered slightly, the pixie needed to check herself before she blew them out entirely.
