Chapter 4~Birthday Time

Jax POV:

Today is Emma's birthday and me and Andi are getting ready, along with Diego, Maddie, Katie, Sophie, Mia and Daniel.

The panthers put up fairy lights and lanterns (with butterflies on it) up on the branches.

Mia is helping her cousin set up.

Andi is doing arts and crafts with the food again!

And Daniel, Diego and I are plugging all the cords into the T3's 'super battery, that last for 24 hours with no matter how many locks.'

We finally finish!

Maddie comes over and asks Diego "Proxy, can we go now! I have to change!"

Daniel goes over to Andi and says "Hey, nice arts and crafts!"

"I didn't do this!" She lies.

"What is it?" I ask.

"It's a butterfly." Andi explains.

"Oh." we all say.

Now I can see that it's a butterfly!

"Well, anyway, Emma's party starts in 1 hour so you guys should go home get changed and I'll guard the venue." I say.

They all go home

it's now 10 minutes till Emma's party starts and finally, Andi and Daniel walk in.

"Their you guys are! I need to go change so get ready!" I say and run off.

I get on my motorbike and go home.

I'm outside Emma's door.

Ready to go on our 'date'!

I'm wearing a thin, blue cotton jacket with a red t-shirt underneath and black jeans with my boots.

I nock on the door.

Mr Alonso answers it.

"Hi Jax, come in!"

I walk in.

"Emma will be ready in a sec." he says.

We're still waiting.

"I'll just go see where she is. Emma!" He calls.

"I'm almost ready!" She yells back.

"Look, I have to go, lock up before you leave!" He whispers to me, handing me his key to the house.

"Emma, I have to leave for my big brains interview!" He says and runs out the door.

I lean on the back of the couch and wait.

Then she comes out.

I stand up.

I try to speak, but I cant.

"Emma, you look..."

"Ugly!" She butts in.

"I was going to say, gorgeous!" I reply.

She was wearing a purple patterned dress with a brown belt and a denim jacket with blue flats.

"Thanks Jax!" She cheers.

I hold out my hand and she grabs it.

We walk out of her house holding hands.

"So, will you tell me now where we are going?" She questioned.

"Nope!" I tease.

We hop on my motorbike and go.
