Chapter 8~Movie Marathon

Emma POV:

I welcome everyone into my home.

We all get set up and start watching movies.

The first one we watch is 'Pitch Perfect'.

That one was funny.

Then we watched 'Pitch Perfect 2'.

That was even funnier.

Then Andi suggested we watch a horror.

I got scared.

But Jax took care of me.

(I think Daniel got Jealous.)

Halfway through the movie I decided to clean up and make things a bit tidier.

I saw Daniel go down the hall.

Mia followed him.

Mia POV:

I follow Daniel because I think something's up.

I saw he went into Emma's bedroom.

"Hey Daniel." I say as I walk in.

"Hey Mia." He moans.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing." He says.

"I know when something's up. And something's up with you. So spill!" I complain.

He smiles and tells me.

"Have you ever put your heart into something, like right from the beginning, and worked on it so hard through this journey. But then, it all falls apart! It's broken!"

"Look, I know your upset about this incident. And Emma shouldn't have done that to you!"

He looks at me in shock.

"I read between the lines." I admitted.

"But, if your so confused, go ask her. You need to hear both sides if the story." I say.

"Your right!" He says.

Daniel gets up and goes out to tell Emma.

I pear in the hallway to watch them.

Emma POV:

I see Daniel walk up to me.

"Hey Daniel." I start.

"Hey Emma. Can we talk?" He says.

"Sure. But can you follow me outside. I need to throw out these pizza boxes before they smell."

I walk out and he follows me.

"Emma, can I ask you something? Why did you choose him?" He says.

"Choose who?" I ask.

"Jax. It's just I've been wondering ever since then and I don't really know." He says.

"Just, because." I smile.

"Please tell me!" He begs.

"That's all to know!" I lie.

"Just tell me!" He gets a bit louder.

"Fine! You want to know! It's because of our history! When you said to me think of all the times we've had together, yes, I did think of all the good moments, but I also thought of all the bad. Me and Jax, we never fight the way you and I do. I'm sorry Daniel!" I walk off.

He stays their for a while.

I go back and sit next to Andi.

"Wow! What was that all about?" She asks me as I sit down.

I pause.

"Nothing." I say.

Daniel POV:

I go back inside and I see Mia signaling me to come to her.

We go back in Emma's bedroom.

"So, how'd it go?" She asks.

"Not so great. She said because we fight a lot!" I say.

"Don't worry! Things will get better. Now we better go back out. I think their about to watch another movie!" We go back out their and watch the last scene of the movie.

Emma POV:

I get a text from my dad.

(Text message)
(D=Dad, E=Emma)

D: Hey Em, it's Dad. My Big Brains meeting is going real well! They want me to stay the weekend! So, I'll be home by 5:00pm on Sunday.

E: That's fine Dad! I'll be fine! You have fun!

(Off text message)

"Hey guys. If you want, you can stay the night! We can make it an all nighter! My Dad is going to be there till tomorrow afternoon. So, maybe after this movie you guys can go home get your stuff and come back?!" I say.

They all agreed.

After the movie, everyone went home.

I got ready too.

Get ready for a magical all-nighter.
