Chapter 13~The return of Daniel Darko!

Emma POV:

I look up and see Daniel.

"Oh, sorry Emma. I didn't see where I was going." He claims.

"That's ok. It was my fault!" I say.

I flee around him and try to walk off, but he pulled back.

"Em, what's going on? It's like your avoiding me!" He claims.

I don't know what to say.

"I'm not, I've just...got to go!" I say.

I try to walk off again but he pulls me back again.

"What is it!" He storms.

"Nothing! I need to get to my dad. Can I go?!" I say.

"Em, just tell me! We used to tell each other everything!" He storms.

"Daniel, it's nothing!" I scream.

"Tell me. or I'll make you pay!" He says in a low, harsh voice.

I relies that Jax was behind Daniel.

"Stop it Daniel!" Jax says pushing him away from me.

"Oh, why are you here?!" Daniel yells.

"Because, after what Emma's said about me, I want to be there for her!" Jax yells.

I give him a curious face.

He herd. What?

"Oh, what a cute couple u are!" He teases in a baby voice.

"Stop being mean to Emma!" Jax says in a stern voice.

"I'm not. I just want to know something !" He yells.

"And this is the way to do it!" Jax yells.

Daniel looks at the ground.

While Jax helps me up.

"Daniel, what's gotten into you?! Gee, I wonder if it's Daniel Darko!" I tease.

Jax mini laughs.

I notices Daniel was looking a bit un-serten about something, and he wasn't laughing with us.

"Daniel, are you ok?" I ask.

He ignores me.

I go up to him and grab his arms.

"Daniel!" I say.

He flinches but then relises it's me.

I calm him down.

"Are you ok?" I finally ask.

"Yeah, I'm fine!" He says.

I smile, he smiles back.

I go over to Jax and grab his hand he walks me to my dad's office.

We arrive at the front of my dad's office.

"Well, were here!" I start.

We smile.

His phone vibrates.

Jax picks it up.

He sees a text and looks at it.

I can see him frown.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Um, my sister just texted me. She said that dad wants me to come home now! And he doesn't look happy?!" He says.

"Well, to be fare, he's never happy!" Jax comments while he puts his phone back.

"Don't worry! You go home! And tell me what's happens afterwards." I say rubbing his back.
