It was almost midnight in America, George and Sapnap had just gotten home from the airport.
The drive was long and quiet, and George stared at the scenery around them. The palm trees shadowing the night sky, the stars almost invisible, the tall buildings lighting up the world around them.
George had recently decided to move in with his friend, wanting to get out of England. He wanted a fresh new start, and he thought this was perfect.
He had waited months to move here, and the process wasn't easy. But that didn't matter now. They were here, George was here, and he was beyond excited for the fresh new adventures to come.
The second Sapnap parked his car, he looked over at George.
"Well, this is the place."
George was relived at that, he was quite exhausted from stress and everything. He was ready to be home.
George lifted up from his seat, staring at the house through the windshield.
It was a pretty house, two stories tall, white brick and wood as the base. It looked like a mansion in George's eyes, but it was just a regular old home.
He studied the scenery around the house, a few bushes around the base as decoration, very few flowers sprouting all over the yard.
George looked in the backseat of the car, studying all of his boxes that the two would have to bring in. He didn't have much to pack, most was just clothing and a few safe keeps. Plus, he still had a few boxes coming in the mail.
"Don't worry," Sapnap said with a smile as George glanced over at him. "We'll get those inside tomorrow, I'm sure you're quite tired from the flight."
It was true, George was tired. He was always tired. But he tried his best to hide it either way.
Sapnap got out of the car, followed by George. The younger boy led him up the stairs and to the front door.
George studied the steps, they were a grey stone, and they looked gorgeous.
He stepped onto the porch behind Sapnap, looking back at the neighborhood that surrounded them. It was pretty, George never really got to see places like this back home.
Sapnap soon opened the door, leading George inside. He closed the door behind themselves as George looked around.
"This is a pretty place," George said, his voice soft.
There was a big living room to the left side of the house, hardwood floor everywhere.
In the middle, there was a staircase, followed by a hallway that led to a few back rooms.
And to the right, was the biggest kitchen George had ever seen. It was very modern, and George admired that.
Sapnap had always mentioned that he loved to cook, so he assumed why there was so much room.
"I'll give you the grand tour tomorrow, alright?"
George looked over at Sapnap, who had yawned his words, and was now stretching.
"Sorry we got home so late too, but we'll do all of our fun things tomorrow." Sapnap smiled.
George nodded, looking around a bit more before he followed Sapnap up the stairs and down the hall.
Sapnap had led him to a room on the left side, and stood in the door way as George stepped into the room.
The room was a dream. A queen sized bed in the middle, a gaming set up in the corner of the room, a medium sized closet followed by his own bathroom, George hadn't seen anything more amazing.
