"Are you alright, George? You seemed kinda off today."
Sapnap and George were sitting in the living room together, watching a few shows.
They had gotten home from the party about an hour ago, and George did admit, he may have been a little too quiet during their visit,
"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine, just a few things on my mind is all."
He turned his head to look at his friend, who had a small smile on his face.
"I don't want to sound cringey or anything-"
Sapnap giggled as he said his words.
"But if you seriously need to open up about something, I'm here for you. I don't want us to keep secrets from each other."
Secrets. That was a hard one. Sapnap probably told George everything going by that statement, and it made George feel a bit bad.
But, he just nodded, giving him a playful smile.
"You're so cringe, Sapnap."
He giggled as his friend called him almost every name in the book.
It was funny, really. George thought he'd get used to being in America with his friend, but in reality, it would take a bunch of time to get used to.
He was ready, of course. It's not like he didn't want to be here. Coming here was his dream. It had been something he wanted to do forever.
Sure he'd get homesick every now and then, but that happens to everyone when they go to a new place.
It was time George started a new chapter in his life, and this was it. He was quite curious on where it would go.
Maybe Clay would be part of it all.

The clock had just stuck midnight, and Sapnap was sound asleep on the couch. The two had talked and played around with each other for what felt like forever, and that must've tired his poor friend.
Sapnap made time pass so easily, he just has that special charm. "The Sap Charm" George always called it.
He could make anyone happy, or easily light up a room. George admired that about his friend, and hoped that one day he would be able to do that as well.
But, that also reminded him of Clay. How easy it was for the stranger to bring a smile to George's face. How easy it was for him to get comfortable around Clay.
That boy seemed to be on George's mind too much today, and he hoped that the thoughts would go away soon.
His mind snapped back to reality, and the situation he was in. Sapnap had his head laid on George's lap, sound asleep. Yet George was getting a bit drowsy as well.
George didn't want to wake his friend, so he tried his best to get comfortable and fall asleep as well.
He was careful with his movements, and each time Sapnap moved even the slightest, George didn't dare move for the next five minutes.
It didn't work at first, George was comfortable and all, but he just couldn't fall asleep. Maybe he just wasn't tired after all. Or maybe it was be because of all the things that cluttered his mind.
He took a deep breath, trying his best to relax. He intended to clear his mind for great nights rest of slumber.
Eventually, it worked. George was drifting to sleep, letting the cool air swarm around him and soon disappear into nothing for the night.
