Caitlyn was a calculated person. From the moment she woke up at exactly 6 o'clock, to the moment she fell sleep. She lived her life carefully, didn't make any mistakes. She was the best in her class, the best in her gymnastics team.
She knew how to take care of herself, something most adults aren't capable of, but she's been doing it since she was 13, when her mother died. Her thoughts on that were 'if you have a useless father, you should learn to be your own father' which unfortunately, for her, that means that when she had to protect herself, she wasn't going to hold back and if she needed it, she would physically fight somebody. However, she felt like she was constantly being challenged, so she used to beat up anybody who dared say something remotely negative about her. That is, until she desfigured a boys face.
Her life was the perfect play, everyone thought she was a reformed insane girl, who had turned her life around. But she was just pretending. Looking for a reason to run away from everything, all the expectations people put on her, having to act normal. She hated it all, she needed to escape.
So she waited for a reason to run, to act how she really wanted to, to dress how she felt like dressing, to be herself, and not the Caitlyn everyone wanted her to be.
