I had to get an ultrasound the other day. To prepare, I needed a full bladder. Apparently it was overextended. I was shaking so bad before...partly due to nerves and also because I was so full of the yellow stuff. To make matters worse, they were pressing on that area!! The tech told me that my bladder was overextended When they finally let me pee, I felt the greatest sense of relief in my life. It was so much liquid and I felt like my kidneys were still churning. I'm not sure how much came out but apparently it was still full when I got back in there. Even after releasing what was probably 4 cups of pee and feeling so relieved, I wasn't done? After the appointment, I peed 3 more times in 2 hours. Can't say my kidneys aren't functioning!!
