Today was my draft day and nervous was something I was far from I was terrified even though I had an idea of who I was getting drafted too I was still nervous there was a possibility I wouldn't be going to LA

If that was God's plan for me than that's one hundred percent okay with me "You look great baby" my mom tightened my tie I smiled down at my mother

One of my number one supporters since I came out her womb I loved this woman more than she knew "Thank you momma"

My dad walked into the room he stood in the doorframe smiling his eyes watered "Man" he sighed walking over to me

"You all grown up and shit" he sniffled I laughed my mom stepped to the side my dad hugged me I hugged him back "Even if you don't get the team you want Imma be there always son" I nodded

"Preciate it pops" I pulled away I wiped my dad tear that was sliding down his face "Where my favorite nephew" My uncle yelled as he came through the hotel I chuckled

He walked into the room I dapped him up hugging him "First Graduation now this I'm proud of you nigga" 

"Thank you Unc" My mom walked over to me helping me put on my jacket "Okay we don't wanna be late" My mom looked down at her watch we all made our departure

The draft was about to begin Zion walked over to me we dapped each other up hugging "Good luck man" Zion held me I nodded "You too"

We let go of each other Zion walked back over to his family and Mika

Danielle walked into the room with the dress she bought at the mall can't even lie and say she didn't look good

"That's yo lady" My unc came up beside me as we stared at Danielle as she was being greeted by my family

"Nah" I shook my head "Oh soon to be" he asked I shook my head again "Nah"

"Quick fuck" he asked "No nigga" I laughed looking at my Uncle he shrugged "Aye" he threw his hands up

I made my way over to Danielle "You look good" I pulled her into a hug "Thank you, you don't look so bad yourself" she looked me up and down

"Thank you for coming"

"No problem" she smiled my mom came beside me "And you are" my mom looked up to me with a look "I'm Danielle" Danielle held her hand out my mom shook it smiling

She turned around getting ready to walk away "I don't like her Niko" my mom spoke sternly I rolled my eyes as she walked off

"Your mother is beautiful" Danielle complimented "Preciate it"

"The real ones are here people" I heard Nathan yell as he entered the room I laughed looking over to the entrance

Nathan, Mia and Domonique walked through the door my heart damn near skipped a beat I didn't know she was still coming to my draft and honestly I was glad she was here

I watched as all of my family greeted her my mother was first in line to greet her causing me to chuckle "Who is she" Danielle asked

"My ex" I watched Domonique she looked good she had a black bodysuit on pairing it with panda dunks her hair was in knotless braids all the way down to her ass

I looked at her neck and seen the necklace I had gave her was still planted on her chest I smirked

"Well she ain't family she can't be here" Danielle sassed "You need me to get her out of here" She turned to me as I still kept my eyes on her "Nah she good"
