"So, now that we...ahem...don't have as many people on our side," Sam Wilson paced across the large room. All-or what was left of-the Avengers were seated in squashy armchairs that had been dragged to the walls to make room for Sam's obvious distress.

"You shouldn't eavesdrop." Yelena came up beside me.

"How will I know what you're saying if I'm not there?" I replied.

"True," she agreed. "Carry on. Maybe you'll hear something to help us." She left me standing by the door and somersaulted down the corridor. 'Showoff' I thought.  Five minutes later, she came cartwheeling back. I rolled my eyes slightly.

"I did some eavesdropping of my own," I smirked at her. She rolled her eyes and continued. "And there's this girl, Kate. We need to follow her."

"Girl? How old?"

"How should I know?" she replied. "I'm not her mother." I laughed. No emotion.

"Let's go."

"Wait, wait, wait!" I grabbed her shoulder to stop her. "There are guards everywhere. We need a plan."

"Oh, you mean them?" she asked, pointing to a pile of unconscious bodies that carried on for the whole length of the corridor. "Yeah, I don't think you need to worry."
