Yes or No?

"So kid, yes or no?" Sam's voice cut through my thoughts and I squirmed against the ropes tying my arms and legs together.

"Yes what?" I asked, trying to sound as innocent as possible.

"Yeah, don't play cute kid, we just need you on our side." Thor replied, raising his eyebrows.

"Why?"

"Cuz your strong, smart and you know Yelena."

"Yeah, I just met her too, you know. And why would I help you? Me and her together can easily defeat you clowns." I was going to show them. I'm not a push-over. Oh, wait, I forgot. How exactly did I get here, facing off the Avengers while tied to a plastic chair? Well...

Yelena was dragging me, as you know, when suddenly Kate Bishop (yes, her again! So annoying...) suddenly came into view, followed by the Avengers. They were all looking pretty annoyed, but when they saw us they immediately apologised to Kate (they didn't believe her, I bet) and sprinted after us. Yelena let go of my collar, making me half-fall-half-jump to the ground and we both ran. All I could hear was the thundering of my heart and Yelena's boots both perfectly in time, and the whistle of shooting arrows and bullets cut through the air. Kate shot a couple of arrows, all of them covered with some sort of serum, and each barely missing the both of us. Sweat trickled down my face, and I lifted an arm to wipe it off. Big mistake. An arrow hit my elbow, and I crumpled to the ground, the sound of Yelena's boots still thundering down the corridor. When I woke up, I was in a dark room with a blinding light shining directly in my eyes. The Avengers thought they were being cool putting me in here, like some sort of fancy detective movie. Yeah, they weren't. After asking me a series of questions (which I refused to answer), the "heroes" explained that Clint did not kill Nat like he was meant to, instead giving her a chance to be an Avenger. Apparently, Nat sacrificed herself. I was almost believing them, when they offered me a place in the Avengers. They said I could take the title Natasha left behind. Replace her.

"No." I replied. "I will NEVER help you destroy the only family I have left. Why should I tell you anything? You're murderers all of you." I watched them squirm. "You kill villians, sure, but didn't they have family too? You kill innocents in the midst of your battles. And worst of all, when you disagree you kill each other. Each other's family," I turned my eyes to Bucky. "Each other's friends," I looked at Clint. "You throw walls onto the people who fight alongside you." I glanced at Steve. "You place bombs in each other's homes," Tony blushed. "And nightmares in their minds." Wanda flinched. "Yes, I know you all better than you know yourselves. And I am dangerous. Don't forget that." After my (rather impressive) speech, they locked me in a room which had security cameras inside and out, and one of the Avengers was always watching from outside the glass. They gave me food and water, which I tried hardest not to eat, and the walls and glass were soundproof so they couldn't hear my accusations.

The Avengers tried to destroy me from the outside. So I clawed at the inside.
