Cassidy POV
After our two subjects our teacher declared that is already breaktime. I was about to go out when I heard someone's calling me from behind so I turned around, It was Leander who is calling me so I decided to approach him.
"It is ok with you if I join you eat in the cafeteria? I don't where it is to be honest, I haven't roam the other facilities here." He asked that make me smile
"Oh sure! I'm glad to show you where the cafeteria is, and having a meal with you also it can make our friendship strong." I responded and exits the classroom door.
We started walking down the stairs while sharing details of our lives just to make ourselves more known to each other. It's really tiring to walk up and down from fourth floor to the ground floor, how I wish this school may have it's elevator.
"Here's the cafeteria, below the school building." I said.
"Oh, it's nice to have a basement cafeteria, it's new here right?" He asked.
"It was new here, lately it was located on the side of the school stage it just got transferred here." I explained.
We decided to go down to see what's the menu of the cafeteria for today. Although it's a little bit expensive than the stores outside the school, it can make your stomach full.
"Go get your food Cassidy, my treat." He said out of the blue that made me shock.
"R-really? Oh that so kind of you." I said to him.
I just get the food that has a cheapest price just because of thinking of his money will be spent on expensive foods here and nothings gonna left for him to go home because he said to me he is just only commuting.
"Let's sit over there!" I pointed my fingers at the back table.
"Okay, let's go." He responded politely.
While we are approaching the table at the back I heard someone's calling me again. It's my friends last year, and based on their smiles I smell some issues right here.
"Cassidy who's that? Your new admirer? You have a long hair until now." They joking asked.
"No no! He's my new friend, his name is Leander." I introduced him to them
"Hello guys, I am Leander nice to meet you." His sweet smile flashes on his lips.
I excused ourselves because we have only few time left to finish our food and get back to our room as soon as possible. I guess I need to embrace the jokes of my bestfriends thinking someone is dating me again, It's ok that they think that way it's just a friendly joke for me but I don't know for Leander since they are not that close enough.
After we finish our food we decided to go back to our room. We climb up with no one is talking with us, until I speak up to break the silence up.
"Thank you for the treat, Leander." I said a lower tone voice.
"No problem, thank you also for guiding me there." He responded and smiled.
And finally we reached our room and we catch our breath first before entering. And we headed to our designated seats, and I think I will remember this day as our last subjects will be coming.
And both of us ending this day with a sweet smiles in our lips.....
