Cassidy POV
It's my birthday the following day. What should I do that day, I use to think if Leander will greet me on my special day. There's nothing special on that day except for the greetings of my family and friends, and also I manifest that Leander stop avoiding me and atleast he talks to me.
"Have you seen Leander around?" I asked his friend and he shook his head.
"I haven't seen him, and you know what he always tell us he's not sleeping for weeks now since the day you rejected him." Liyarah utters that made me shock and freeze at the moment.
I need to talk to him as soon as possible. He's body clock it's not appropriate for his health, he's putting his own health at risk which is not necessarily to do so because I don't deserve that kind of sacrifice putting someone's health in risk. I decided to find the place Leander used to go when he's down, I hope I can find him there and I pray that everything is alright and luckily he's here.
"Hey Leander! What's going on with you!?." I shouted at him.
"It's none of your business, Cassidy." He answered coldly that hurts the inner me.
"You don't have to do this on yourself, don't be to hard on yourself." I begged.
"Get out of here, I want to be alone." He shouted at me that makes me leave.
As I turned my back at him my tears start to fall down. I didn't expect that my decision will impact him this big, and causing him too much pain that overwhelming him to handle.
