This is a bit of *spice* in this chapter

I tapped my fingers against my leg as I looked down at my bag. I knew that I had everything, but I was so nervous, that I was terrified that I would forget something important, like my makeup or something. I pulled everything out and repacked my bag, mentally going over what I was putting back in my bag.

I could hear Dimitri talking to someone in the living room and I chewed my lip, shaking my head.

"What am I forgetting?" I whispered to myself.

"What?"

I looked and found that Dimitri was now standing in the doorway.

"I know I'm forgetting something. I don't want to make Lissa drive all the way back here tonight, or god forbid I forget something tomorrow," I explained while running my hands through my hair. Dimitri made a motion for me to take a deep breath as he tucked his phone into his back pocket, looking over my suitcase. He hummed quietly and nodded before going to our bed and riffling around with our pillows. He pulled my knitted blanket out from behind and I sagged. I did forget something.

"I think you might need this tonight, you're anxiety is all over the place," Dimitri said as he carefully folded the blanket and tucked it into my suitcase. I gave him a soft look and he kissed my cheek.

"Also, you might need that," Dimitri said pointing to the white garment bag that was hanging on the back of the door. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Lissa is responsible for the dress," I pointed out, "She gets the fun job tonight."

Dimitri hummed and rubbed his hands over my shoulders, working the muscles.

"Breathe. Tomorrow is going to be a good day," he whispered in my ear. I could hear the smile in his voice and smiled too. I turned around and ran my hands up his chest, resting them there.

"Still want to go through with it even though you don't remember our whole relationship?"

Dimitri smirked. "Maybe I'll be lucky and I'll remember everything in the morning," Dimitri said hopefully. I knew that he was trying so hard to remember, and more pieces were coming back, but nothing concrete from the last few years. He remembers leading up to the party at Camille's, but it was still hazy.

"Wouldn't that be fun." I said with a sigh.

Dimitri kissed the tip of my nose. "But either way, I'm going to be at the end of the aisle, waiting for you tomorrow," he whispered. I leaned into him and wrapped my arms around his waist.

"Are you nervous?" I asked.

Dimitri shook his head. "Not necessarily. More anxious, I've waited my whole life for you."

My cheeks felt warm as I smiled up at him. "Lissa's going to be here any minute," I whispered. Dimitri nodded and kissed my forehead, letting me go so that I could finish packing. I had just finished zipping my suitcase when I heard another zipper, my head snapping around.

"You can wait twelve hours!" I yelled. Dimitri smirked at me with his hand on the zipper of my garment bag.

"Just a little peak?"

I scowled and smacked his hand away. "No!"

Dimitri pouted but it left his face when there was a knock on the door. I licked my lips and let out a breath, running my hands through my hair.

"I'll see you tomorrow," I whispered. Dimitri nodded and reached for my hand, squeezing it softly.

"I love you."
